Yesterday as I was driving home I heard on the radio that although the markets were down substantially, Sturm Ruger and Smith & Wesson were both up 5.5%. Both companies make excellent products of which I have owned several fine examples. It's good to see them doing well.

Terrorists can get off plenty of shots with the element of surprise, but in America (not Europe or Canada or Australia) a counter-force from the civilian populace wouldn't be far away.
