Yesterday as I was driving home I heard on the radio that although the markets were down substantially, Sturm Ruger and Smith & Wesson were both up 5.5%. Both companies make excellent products of which I have owned several fine examples. It's good to see them doing well.

Even though I have no need for another, and am not a collector, I now plan to buy something else.

How did the tragedy in San Bernardino come to an end? When cops emptied magazines into Muslim terrorists.

Terrorists can get off plenty of shots with the element of surprise, but in America (not Europe or Canada or Australia) a counter-force from the civilian populace wouldn't be far away.
