What caused the slowdown was Obama's arrogant refusal to negotiate a budget.

And the Senate's complete failure to pass a budget for 1200 days.

Obamacare couldn't survive a vote on its own, so Dems want to hide it amid other federal spending.

Repubs have 4 times sent out proposals to fund the rest of the govt, so it is crystal clear this is Obama's shutdown (really slowdown).

ANY law that passes without A SINGLE vote of the opposition party is not a 'good' law, and any law that requires 1500+ favors of exemption is not a 'good' law. Liberals may not like it but the House is acting within the constitution it is Obama who is in violation.

Obama keeps saying Obamacara is a law passed by Congress that is the law of the land and therefore must be fully funded but yet, Obama has modified the law on his own without going to Congress to grant exemptions to millions of his choosing. It's either a law that applies to everyone or a law that shouldn't apply to anyone. Republicans are right not fund it until that adjustment is made.

Both your comments miss the point.
The underlying subject of the dispute is not the same as the political mechanics of the dispute.
This would be settled today if Boehner would bring the matter, an actual bill that has majority support of both parties, to a vote, but he won't.
The majority of his party want it settled regardless of the Healthcare dispute, but they aren't given the chance to vote.

King has explained it all to you but you continue to parade your ignorance of the subject.
