Political discussions about everything

They may be skilled in political theater — but when Mayor de Blasio and Hillary Clinton appeared on stage together, their comic turn became a tragic gaffe.

In a skit at Saturday night’s Inner Circle show, Clinton joined de Blasio as a surprise guest and ribbed him for delaying his endorsement of her presidential campaign.

Their big moment became a big blunder when a tasteless joke — built off the stereotype that black people are chronically late — fell flat.

“Thanks for the endorsement. Took you long enough,” Clinton deadpanned.

“Sorry, Hillary. I was running on C.P. Time,” de Blasio replied, riffing on the phrase “colored people time,” meaning always late.

“Hamilton” star Leslie Odom Jr., who is black and plays Aaron Burr in the hit production, addressed the mayor from the stage.

“That’s not — I don’t like jokes like that, Bill,” Odom said.

Later, a mayoral spokesperson tried to clear the air with an event stronger statement:

“In an evening of satire, the only person this was meant to mock was the mayor himself, period. Certainly no one intended to offend anyone.”

Odom’s rep said he was unavailable for comment.
Happen every time Hillary or Blasio tries to be funny, both are racist as they can be, they even use blacks in their jokes.

Hey Tool, you forgot to post the part where someone was "ripped for a racist joke".
Since you have a reading comprehension problem, here ya go!

It's caused such an uproar among blacks that the White House has stepped in and is calling their racist joke "A misguided attempt at humor" Just like Hillary's er exposing America's top secrets were just "unintentional" mistakes.
WH defends Clinton and de Blasio after 'Color People time' joke flops. President Obama’s top spokesman on Tuesday defended the civil rights record of New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton who have come under fire for making a racially tinged joke at an event last week. Mayor de Blasio and Secretary Clinton have, over the course of their careers, demonstrated a genuine commitment to the pursuit of equality and justice and civil rights,” press secretary Josh Earnest told reporters.

“I can’t speak to any misguided attempts at humor,” he said. “I can only speak to their commitment they have shown over the course of their career to justice and civil rights.”

Wikipedia has stepped in!
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Colored People's Time, or CPT, or CP Time (also referred to as Black People Time) is a common American expression referring to a negative stereotype of African Americans as frequently being late.

The expression is often described as a racist and negative stereotype

In the Maude episode "Florida's Problem" (season 1, episode 18), which aired on February 13, 1973, Henry Evans (who later becomes James Evans Sr. on Good Times) says to Florida, "I'm coming back at 9:00, and I mean 9:00 WPT." He leaves and Maude asks Florida, what's "WPT"? Florida responds "White People Time. If he didn't mean 9:00 sharp he would have said CPT. That's Colored People Time. Which means 'shuffle on in when you feel like it'".[9]

In politics used by Mayor de Blasio and former Secretary Clinton in a joke. "I just have to say, thanks for the endorsement, Bill. It took you long enough,” Clinton said. "Sorry Hillary, I was running on C.P. time," de Blasio

Couple this with Bubba's scolding of Black Lives Matter not long ago....

And Obama was defending Hillary and praising her and then she does this!

You can't make this shit up

Bernie can now say Hillary is not qualified to be President and he'd be right

Hillary lacks common sense!

Hillary just blamed de Blasio, she said de Blasio and his staff put the skit together, she just went along with it. Going along with a racist joke then laughing at it, while not condemning it makes her just as guilty as de Blasio. Notice that the only other person on stage with them when they did the joke, made it very clear he didn't appreciate the racist joke as soon as they said it, he distanced himself from it, Hillary didn't, she just laughed.

"I don't like posts like yours, Tool."-me
"I see your struggling with your grammar again,..."-RealTool

^^^^^RealTool is reliably hilarious as he tries to criticize my perfectly correct grammar while using his consistently poor English to do so.
Keep on making a fool of yourself, Tool, and I'll rip you again.

You're right, you can't make this shit up.

I've lived in the South around blacks my entire life, I was even raised in the Hood. I've always seen CPT, but I swear I've never heard of it before this. This is hilarious.

I don't like it when blacks call each other "nigger".
Why would I like it any more or less when you say it, dummy?
But regardless, why should the things they say to each other define my opinion of the things YOU say to us HERE? That's just stupid.

That said, it's downright hilarious when Chris Rock and Dave Chapelle use the word in their acts.
Why? It's not because they're black. It's because they're actually funny, and they're making a satirical point at the same time.
They aren't just being oblivious when they say it, the way you are.

So what was wrong with the joke that fell flat at the Inner Circle show?
It wasn't that the joke was racial. It's that the joke wasn't funny. Of course it fell flat.
Politicians should know better than to try to be funny when almost none of them are.
The trouble is they don't KNOW they aren't funny. Their egos are too big to see it. They all see themselves as being endlessly fascinating and witty.
Trump is terminally unfunny. He's not even as funny as Nixon wasn't.

But I do wish you clowns would stop attributing made-up-stupid-shit positions to me that I don't hold, and then argue against your imaginary 'me' as if I hold those idiotic positions.
Why can't you ever argue against the things I actually say instead of the nonsense you pull out of your asses?
It's as simple as quoting me and then pointing out what you think is wrong with that thing I said.

People can say what ever they want.
It's only when you say incredibly stupid and ignorant things, sillydud, that I point out your stupidity to you.
(Apparently you have no one in your regular life who tells you these things or you wouldn't keep embarrassing yourself the way you do.)
You can think of it as a public service I provide to the dimwitted.

In your case, you don't understand why the things you say fall flat any more than the clueless politicians do. Your ridiculous ego won't allow you to see how idiotic the things you say are.
But I've never told you you can't say racist things any more than I would tell Hillary she can't say "Thanks for the endorsement. Took you long enough."
(Seriously, you clowns are actually calling that line "racist" which only goes to show us you haven't a clue about what real racism is. And that's why you can never recognize it in your own racist comments.)

But I do wish you clowns would stop attributing made-up-stupid-shit positions to me that I don't hold
Clown then why did you just spend 15 minutes defending Hillary's skit as not racist? Saying he was last because he was running on colored people time (CPTime) was one of the most racist jokes I've ever heard politicians use. I bet you can't find an example of a more racist one by a politician, start goggling dude!
#70878
Tool, the time I spent is irrelevant to the point. (Sure, the time was wasted because you swine are too stupid to benefit from the time I spent, but that's all.)
You still don't understand what I said.

Here's what sillydummy said:
"Clown hates racial jokes and will take you to task for posting one......
But since this one involved Hillary.....well, that's OK with Clown"

As I just explained, I love racial jokes when they're funny, and I only occasionally take someone to task for them if they aren't funny, so silly's first line is the opposite of the truth.
And I just told you that the joke in question wasn't "OK" because the dummies didn't understand it wasn't funny and that THEY weren't funny.
It has nothing to do with Hillary being involved. If it were Trump it would be just as unfunny. So sillydummy's second line is false as well. Nothing to do with what I actually think.

So sillydud attributed his made up beliefs to me. Then you dimwits continued to argue against 'my' made up position in my absence.
Even now you haven't argued against a thing I actually said, even after I spent all that time giving you a bunch of stuff to argue against.
Every last one of you clowns is incapable of reasoned argument.

I've never heard that blacks being late is some sort of joke or racial insult.

Of course, even I was never late to play basketball because it is fun.

Kidding aside, I'm surprised that de Blasio and Hillary are making such racist "jokes" while calling others racist.
