The establishment of both the Democrats and the GOP are in an uproar, it's not suppose to be going this way. The declared Sanders and Trumps jokes on day one and we're amused they even entered the race. If Hillary steals the nomination from Sanders, millennials won't stand for it, if the nomination is stolen from Trump his supporters won't stand for it.

Dudes, no matter who is elected, that person will have an up hill climb and the establishments will be neutered.

U-6 unemployment is 9.8 percent.

Tuition costs have risen far above the rate of general inflation.

Average real family income has declined about 4k over Obama's tenure.

People are outraged at the mess, and that seems to have given rise to Sanders and Trump.

What's up with Wisconsin....?
They love Cruz up there.....he opened every rally with,"God bless Wisconsin".
Even Kasich gave up on them

But the one that really got a raw deal was Bernie.......

.He beat Hillary, yet they give Hillary half the delegates anyway??

Does Wisconsin allow the cows to vote too?

johnny, you can't just quote meaningless and mostly wrong statistics without any context.

The U-6 under GWBush went from 7.3% to 14%. (Jan. 2001-Jan.2009)
Under Obama it went from 14% to 9.6%.(Jan. 2009-present)
So everyone isn't suddenly getting angry, because it got much worse starting 15 years ago and has improved since Obama took over.
http://www.macrotrends.net/1377/u6-unemployment-rate

As to Real Income, again, everyone lost out under W.Bush, even the wealthy.
Under Obama the top 60% are better off than when he took over.
The only losers are the bottom 40%, and most of that loss was under W.Bush.
http://www.advisorperspectives.com/dsho ... bution.php

This problem is 15 years old, but mostly things are improving now.
And there seems to be a national trend to raise the minimum wage for the lowest 40%.
You haven't bailed on the markets yet, have you, johnny...

Absolutely, this is not a new problem.

Nor is Bush Jr guiltless in all this.

But Obama has been president for 7 years and all he has done is make things much worse.

Again, when people mention a trend, that is mildly interesting but you need to know the reality, which is that 9.8 percent U-6 is where America is now.

We are 19 trillion in debt, and Obama has added trillions to get to that.

46 million Americans are on food stamps and the Dept of Agriculture under Saint Barry is so moronic that it WANTS people to be on food stamps.

There are over 100 sanctuary cities, so the rule of law under Obama continues in that regard to be much worse than Bush Jr's terrible record on the same thing.

What is Obama's excuse?

He claimed to be smart, but his SAT and LSAT remain secret.

He said our foreign policy would be smart, but instead it is been dishonest (Benghazi) and idiotic (the non-deal with Iran).

So, actually, all the figures I cited are accurate and fairly represent where we are now.

Don't forget Cuba.......thanks to Obama offering them the "hand of friendship" (that was quickly spat on by Fidel),

Raul is now demanding the return of Gitmo....and I'm betting Obama will bow to them and give it back.

Don't forget Obama releasing Iran's top nuclear scientist, funding their terrorist operation and insuring no one can stop them from completing their nuclear weapons program and nuking Israel. Hillary supports Obama's agenda for Iran, it's no wonder Sanders kicked her ass in the last 7 States. The problem is that the establishment doesn't get it, Hillary is scheduled to be the next President to hell with what peon citizens want.

I just linked you to facts that prove your ridiculous comment is not true, johnny.

How can you simply lie so easily with facts right in front of everyone?
What part of "Under Obama it went from 14% to 9.8%.(Jan. 2009-present)" don't you understand as things being "better"?

Are you really going to insist that a 9.8% U-6 is "much worse" than a 14% U-6?

Obama made this!
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- More than a third (35%) of Americans now say they are worried "a great deal" about race relations in the U.S. -- which is higher than at any time since Gallup first asked the question in 2001. The percentage who are worried a great deal rose seven percentage points in the past year and has more than doubled in the past two years.

johnforbes doubles down on stupid and insists a 9.8% U-6 is worse than a 14% U-6, and nobody calls him on it but me.

And you all wonder why I call the lot of you "stupid fucks".

For laughs, regarding the debt and spending, you could ask the eternally prancing Forbes which branch of the federal government actually authorizes the spending of money.

While you're endlessly twirling, give it a whirl, Forbes.

For laughs, regarding the debt and spending, you could ask the eternally prancing Grog which branch of the federal government actually spends money not authorized by Congress then claims the government will have to be shut down if the budget isn't increased to pay those bills. Obama has went over budget every year he's been in office.

"Obama has went over budget every year he's been in office."-RealTool

You wanted to know what "evidunce" is, Tool?
You just posted some.
It's made up stupid shit and yammering distractions from reality with no supporting evidence that is regurgitated by tools like you and silly and johnforbes even after it is debunked.

Obama couldn't possibly have "went over budget every year he's been in office" because Congress hasn't even PASSED a budget since 2009. They haven't bothered to tell the President what he can and can't spend.
So "which branch of the federal government actually spends money not authorized by Congress"?
It's the responsible branch of government that keeps the government running despite Congress shirking its duty of passing a budget.
Then you criticize the President when he points out that the government will have to be shut down if Congress continues to fail to do its job and the debt ceiling (not some non-existent budget) isn't increased to pay those bills while Congress sits by irresponsibly twiddling its thumbs for another year.

Meanwhile, the Teabaggers (with the rigid ideology and refusal to compromise) have made it impossible for Congress to do its job.
Ryan is now trying to get it back on track. We'll see if the Teabaggers will allow him to do it.

Clown do you know how stupid it is for you to argue raising the debt limited isn't about increasing the budget? If Obama stayed within the budget he wouldn't have to ask it to be increased. Try again dude.
By johnforbes
#70794
First, there is no direct causal connection between a president and the economy.

Secondly, a president can set a tone, and Obama set one by increasing the national debt more than all prior presidents combined.

Third, Obama wanted to change America and he has, with more spending, more debt, more on food stamps, trillions more in national debt, very high U-6 (now 9.8 percent after years of "stimulus"), 94 million out of the labor force...

Our government should be forced to play by the same rules businesses and citizens have to play by. If our budgets run out we have to stop spending, we can't inflate our budgets by just saying "what the hell, just add it to my tab"
