Remember, pollinators are necessary for life to exist on the earth.
More than two out of five American honeybee colonies died in the past year, and surprisingly, the worst die-off was in the summer, according to a federal survey.

Since April 2014, beekeepers lost 42.1% of their colonies, the second-highest rate in nine years, according to an annual survey conducted by a bee partnership that includes the US Department of Agriculture.

“What we’re seeing with this bee problem is just a loud signal that there’s some bad things happening with our agro-ecosystems,” said study co-author Keith Delaplane at the University of Georgia. “We just happen to notice it with the honeybee because they are so easy to count.”

It's called urban sprawl, as liberals expand their lust for more resources they destroy the bee's natural habitat. It's the give me, give me, mentality of liberals as they drain the water resources of California and destroy our country as they demand more and insist we need to make room for millions of more bottom feeders from other countries, because it's a cool thing to do.

So, now you know what's happening to the bees. ;)

The solution to this problem is simple:

Cut taxes on corporations like Archer Daniels Midland, DuPont, and Monsanto.
Then they'll finally have enough money to solve this problem out of the goodness of their hearts.
After all, corporations are just "people".

That would be a start but it should extend to all businesses since we have the highest corporate taxes in the world, it's no wonder our economy is in the dumps.

Now back to the loss of our little pollinators due to urban sprawl.

At first I thought he was joking, but I see now he actually believes it.
So what do you think is killing off the bees if it's not because of their habitat being destroyed?

Mention urban sprawl as destroying nature and habitat and liberals get their panties in a wad. I think it's a good thing that we keep liberals in a confined area so they can be controlled, they do the most damage when they spread out and invest areas outside of the city which ends up just becoming a suburb which ultimately is swallowed up by the large city pulling it under the liberals' rule. They don't care if it kills the little bees, liberals will deny the little bees are dying but snakeoil an I know better

Clown is a cold bastard, he doesn't care about the demise of the little bees, it's all about expansion and consumption to him. If we need more bees, we'll just raise taxes to get more, that's how he thinks. Better yet, lets start a Department of Bees, hire a Bee Czar and a few thousand public employees. Of course we'll have to make the bees move over so we can construct the appropriate buildings to house the new agency. The bees won't realize it but it'll be good for them to have some oversight to control and advise them of how they should act and live.

They never said it had to do with habitat loss....

Delaplane and vanEngelsdorp said a combination of mites, poor nutrition and pesticides are to blame for the bee deaths.

Dude that's what I said, urban sprawl is destroying nature and the bee's habitat. You don't care about the little bees, all you care about is defending urban sprawl as good thing and bringing peaceful and independent hard working people under control of the mother bee and adding more public agencies.

Agree, I've explained it three times and he still can't wrap his head around it.
Justme, you are entitled to your opinions but not your own set of the facts. The authors of the research never said that urban sprawl contributed to lower bee populations, that was a conclusion that you came up with which was not supported by the study results...

So you're saying I'm entitled to my opinion but only if it agrees with your opinion? My opinion is that destruction of their habitat by humans has caused their demise and that "man made global warming" played no role which is what liberals want us to believe. So clown, what's your opinion or do you have one on the subject?

Nope, silly, not at all.

When I was 3 or 4 years old my mother taught me a valuable lesson.
We never wore shoes in the summer, because....why wear them? That's just silly.
One day I stepped on a bee and it stung me and I went wailing to my mother to tell her of my grievous misfortune.
She looked at me and said, "Oh stop crying, it doesn't hurt."
And I stopped and realized she was right, it didn't really hurt. I never cried at anything silly from that day on.
Later, when I was older, I helped my father take care of his hives. To this day I eat nothing but maple honey, which was our main source.
It's a bit rare to find for sale because it is early honey and the beekeepers usually leave most of it in the hives for the bees to live on until the mainstream crap comes in. If you find a beekeeper selling honey but maple is not on display, sometimes you can ask for it and they will bring it out from under the table. They often only sell their very limited supply to those in the know. You don't waste the stuff on idiots with money but who can't tell the difference.

As to "levity" I can't believe The Tool is actually posting on this subject. It is obvious that he knows ZERO about this issue.
He's not even parroting bullshit from his handlers this time. He's just making up shit wholesale and pretending he knows what he's talking about.
Mites and pesticides are caused by urban sprawl? Habitat destruction? Jesus H. Chrisis...

I don't think there is a single one of his comments that is even vaguely factual.

Beekeepers sell honey which is produced by their bees, maple is a product of a tree, not a bee. Three-quarters of the world's maple output is from Quebec. To pretend beekeepers produce maple is very telling about clown's ZERO knowledge of the issue.

Clownhacker's voice does have the same adenoidal twang as Hank Williams, Sr.

Without, of course, any of Hank's charm or talent.

Sadly, there's no decline in the "Honey Do" list.

Thus, my plumbing skills (none) were used today to install a new kitchen faucet.

Always helpful, I will assist johnforbes with his "Honeydew" list.

Apparently johnforbes has been touring the fabulous California wine country recently.

That must be when he was seen driving down Crenshaw with his 'protege' on their way to Pink's to swallow sausages together.

No, I don't drink anything alcoholic, including wine.

As for Pink's, no doubt their hot dogs are good but too high in fat for me to consume.

Clownhicker must not extrapolate his own dietary errors and universalize them.

Honestly, johnny, as if you will fool us into believing touring the fabulous California wine country with a strapping lad is about drinking wine.

And I'm sure the sausages you prefer are very low in fat. :o
