David Petraeus Is Sentenced to Probation.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A federal judge on Thursday sentenced David H. Petraeus, the highest-profile general from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, to probation for disclosing classified information. He was also fined $100,000, which was $60,000 more than the government had recommended.

Not only had the head of the C.I.A. potentially jeopardized national security, but he had lied about it to F.B.I. agents in an interview, the officials said. Lying to federal agents is a felony that carries a sentence of up to five years in prison. The Justice Department has used that charge against terrorists, corrupt politicians and low-level drug dealers.

Anyone else would be behind bars for the rest of their lives at his age. I'm betting Hillary will get a similar deal but have to pay more than had to pay. What's a few a hundred million fine to the Clintons? That'll be taken out of their $3 billion foundation as "tax right offs".

I has to really bother the federal investigators when their investigations end up sending little people to prison but only results in a slap on the hand for the elites because other elites step in and shield them.

Meanwhile, millions of draftees fought the biggest war of his lifetime.

The real issue now is whether Lynch, the new AG, will change the Dept of "Justice" back into a law enforcement entity.

If Hillary's email server is not seized, we'll know that the rule of law no longer matters -- that Hillary can lie about Benghazi, lie about the Clinton Foundation, and that the Dept of "Justice" won't care because she is a Democrat.
