Bush and Cheney stayed at their ranches for vacations where they put the secret service up for free. Obama and family rent city blocks in Hawaii, New York, Palm Springs, etc for not only their staff but family members and friends of their staffs. Michelle has flaunted her spending several times by taking a separate jet on the same day because she wants to leave or stay a few hours more costing tax payers millions in additional costs. Yes the Obama family abuses presidential perks with no regard for our money.

What I don't understand about libtards is why they have a problem with someone who spends their own money that "they earned" but don't have a problem with the Obama family's extravagant spending of our money? I'm not a 1% er but I for one look up to those who earned their money legally and not through abuse of government positions as an inspiration to all of us, on the other hand when I hear someone bashing their success it tells me a lot about that person.

Both Obama and Hillary are 1% ers yet they both bash "the other 1% ers" as if we're to ignorant to notice their hypocrisy because...they are of course "exempt" from scrutiny.

Surely you must admit that we have the best government money can buy. No one can make billions without using every nook and cranny in the tax code AND buying a Congressional delegate or two to make sure those nooks and crannys are there. The average hedge fund regurn is around 15% BUT you have to havea huge amount of money to be accepted to a hedge fund. The idea of a progressive income tax is that those who have benefited from our system of governmebt should give some back. The idea behind the estate tax is to prevent a dynasty as they used to have in Europe.

The super rich do not keep their money in the bank, much of the wealth of the 1% is hidden in ovrrseas banks. investigate the island of Nevis as a tax haven. If you start a corpoaration with $25, 000 you canhave citizenship in Nevis. If another country wants to investigate you for tax cheating Nevis requires that you post a bond with the Nevis courts, hire a Nevis attorney and plead your case before a judge appointed by the government. Good luck with that. Very few people win against a Nevis corporation.

Ah, Justme....always twisting and turning in the wind to turn OPs into a platform for his rants against Obama. Okay, I'll explain the OP to you. I suggest that you reread the OP first AND notice the site that originated the article. Remember, Bloomberg (the owner of the site) is a multi-billionaire himself. The article, in no way, suggests that the super rich are good or bad. The purpose of the article is to point out that being super rich has its own set of problems. Many, if not all, of those problems are preservation of wealth and security for yourself and family, I'm sure that someone that is super-rich has several crazy's that would like nothing better than to cause harm to them. Harming a super-rich would get the super-crazy much publicity which is the end goal. As usual, the posts took on a life of their own and morphed into forum for personal biases.

Again, I must point out that the publisher of the article is one of the super-rich himself and probably has the same problems.

The same for being super attractive, there's times one has to avoid certain establishments to avoid being swarmed by women, then when you reject their advances some (especially if they've been drinking) get all indignant and even turn violent. So while I'm not super rich, I can relate to what they have to go through dealing with those around them.
