Political discussions about everything

Speaking at a brief news conference in the Hague, President Obama said he's more worried about a loose nuke being detonated in Manhattan than he is about Russia. Russia's actions are a problem. They don't pose a security threat to the United States. I continue to be much more concerned when it comes to our security with the prospect of a nuclear weapon going off in Manhattan," said Obama.
Dudes if I lived in Manhattan I would be getting me and my family out of there. Obama's slip of the tongue should be a warning that is heeded.
#38787
If you lived in Manhattan you would understand by now that New York has always been a target and 9/11 would have taught you that. But you're too stupid to understand it even now.
Your running like a coward isn't going to change that fact.

There was no "slip of the tongue" you moron.
He's absolutely right in his comment. He SHOULD be more concerned with a nuke in New York than he is with Ukraine.
It's his job.
If he was more concerned with Ukraine than the U.S. you would be here mewling and slobbering about how Obama hates America and wants to destroy it.

For the President of the United States to tell the international community that is biggest worry his that Manhattan may be nuked should concern everyone. That tells me it's serious since it out weighs the failures of Obamacare and him about to lose the Senate to the Republicans. Get out of Manhattan dudes.

"For the President of the United States to tell the international community that is biggest worry his that Manhattan may be nuked should concern everyone."-RealTool

Well, you be sure to let us know when he actually says that, RealTool.
According to your own (likely fake made-up) quote, he didn't say it was his biggest worry.
Maybe you should make up another phony quote that puts those words into his mouth.

The truth is.....The Clown can not believe Obama is that big an idiot to say such a thing at the Hague where the whole world heard it.

Correct me if I'm wrong Clown but the Mayor of New York is Bill de Blasio........ a Democrat !

First Las Vegas has to survive Obama's kiss of death, and now Manhattan. Their Tourist Bureau must be loving Barry right now ! He's a piece of work!

Now the clown will come back and say, that's not what Obama meant when he said it so it doesn't count.

RealTool, you can't link to a video of Obama NOT saying what you claimed he said and then pretend he said what you claimed he said. You only proved you lied.

Jesus you conservatives are idiots.

And sillydodo, what has the mayor of New York got to do with whether or not Obama said something he didn't say?
#38825
It just occured to me that it isn't surprising that RealTool misunderstands this stuff.

He shows us regularly here that he thinks "worse" means "worst".
It makes sense that he would think "more concerned" means "most concerned".
Go ask the school board about it, RealTool.
Or click this to bone up on you junior high English class: http://www.eflnet.com/tutorials/adjcomp ... zJcRM7NhHA

Now don't you feel stupid?
Probably not.
You're too stupid to feel stupid about your stupidity.
#38831
RealTool re-posts the video that proves me right and him wrong, then says I'm the one who's squirming.

It's sad that he doesn't realize how he's always being used by his handlers.
To him, anything is better than working to make up for those Cs, Ds, and Fs in junior high English class.
He's one of those clowns who always said "What am I going to need this stuff for anyway?" as his excuse for his failing grades.

So, exactly how many Presidents were "strong" (read: stupid) enough to try and start a war with Russia. Let's start with Ike. Answer: none

Now, how many Russian Premiers/Presidents of the USSR/Russia have been stupid enough to try and start a war with the U.S.? Same time period. Answer: none

Now, how many times have these two "powers" pushed the line and pulled stuff like Putin has pulled? Answer: endless number of times.
In June 2001, George W. Bush and Vladimir Putin ended their first face-to-face meeting with an outdoor news conference beneath a craggy mountaintop in Slovenia. "Is this a man that Americans can trust?" I asked Bush as Putin glared at me.

"Yes," Bush replied, before allowing Putin to answer a separate question. A few minutes later, the American president elaborated: "I looked the man in the eye. I found him to be very straightforward and trustworthy. We had a very good dialogue. I was able to get a sense of his soul, a man deeply committed to his country and the best interests of his country," Bush said, adding a few sentence later, "I wouldn't have invited him to my ranch if I didn't trust him."

Yes, our relationship with Russia is extremely difficult. It always has been and will continue to be. It hasn't changed for any of our Presidents. The only change here, is the addition of a bunch of delusional right wing traitors to the U.S. in the form of teagaggers. Right wingers who want our Presidents to be tyrants like Putin and want the U.S. to be like Russia.

Obama has lost control of international relations so he attempts to scare the American public by implying NYC is under threat of being nuked without any regard for those that live there. That's what community organizers do, not Presidents.

The United States' options are few and fairly weak. But it doesn't help that Obama has undercut his global reputation by vacillating on Syria and, more generally, sending a consistent signal that he is reluctant to use military force to back up his threats. Obama's approach reflects the war weariness of the public he leads and the promises he made in the campaign to succeed Bush. Nonetheless, rarely is a U.S. president rebuked as quickly and fully as when Putin stung Obama on Friday, ignoring a warning that "there will be costs" for military action in Ukraine.
From that same article posted by Bilbo.

We don't want a tyrant President but we don't need a weak one either.

Referring to Russia as a Regional power instead of a global power was stupid by Obama when the USA is trying to get Russia to help with both Iran and Syria. Also Russian nukes can reach anywhere in the world that's not Regional that's Global.. I bet Obama would like to take some of those words back.
#38881
Obama said it intentionally as a direct insult to a regional bully. Russia is a regional power. A very big regional power, but no longer a global power. One with a complex history and the grandiose ideas of a petty tyrant. He will most likely nibble at his borders for some time and create more terrorists within his own conquered territories.
#38891
justupid, do you ever have any idea what you are talking about? Oh, no! You don't.

Putin will not nuke Manhattan unless he sees us attacking him. That would be his end. His complete end. And the end of his ambitions. The current danger to the U.S. is in people like you and McCain. People who think in WWII terms.
#38906
Isn't it an editorial requirement to say nasty things about Obama. Don't they execute authors who don't say nasty things about Obama. ~~ Bilbo
Bilbo is at his wits' end. Like a modern day Diogenes he seeks favorable comments about Obama. He finds none.
He refuses to admit that it's all Obama's fault. It can not be. So he comes to the only conclusion that makes sense to him. A conspiracy. A clandestine group of assassins. He calls them "they". Killing off all those brave individuals, men of letters, who have nothing but love for the Deliverer.
#38907
Putin will not nuke Manhattan unless he sees us attacking him.
What makes you think he isn't concerned about the U.S. nuking him? Currently we're at our lowest level of nuke readiness in over 20 years while Russia is at it highest. We have a leader that won't even risking rescuing his own ambassador while Russia has a strong leader who is willing to make tough choices.

Putin knows this is the moment in history to regain Russia's greatness. At 3:00am he could order the launch of hundreds of nukes knowing Obama wouldn't respond even if bothered to get out of bed.

The question is...do we trust Putin not to wipe out the United States to further his goals, because he certainly knows he can do it, he's the most powerful leader in the world, our lives depends on what Putin does. Thank you Obama.
