The ACA has been posted on the internet for years, those who are surprised we're just to lazy to read it. When Obama talked about people being able to keep their plans he was 100% correct, why should he be required to read the whole ACA to lazy to read it? Of course there will be some people who lose there plans, it was the norm prior to the ACA, it's nothing new, insurance companies do that, not the government. Obama shouldn't have to dumb down his speeches for the lazy. His only mistake was not realizing how many really stupid people there are out there. It's time to just move forward and stop acting like children.

The legislators who voted for Obamacare hadn't read it, nor could they because it only emerged from NPRM after it was passed.

Obama knew in June 2010 that millions would lose their health plans, and they debated how Obama should deal with that fact.

With the 2012 election coming up, Obama and his staff decided to lie. At least 40 times on video, Obama told the lie that, if you liked your plan, you could keep it.

He even added "Period."

Obamacare is already proving to be very unaffordable.

Obama's speech material does have to be dumbed down to reach his voters.

Obama should know the ACA frontwards and backwards if he's going to take the credit for it. What Obama didn't count on was the insurance companies would start cancelling policies right away before the year was out, thus making a liar out of him. True the insurance companies have always cancelled policies....but used to do it with more tact and with evidence that would hold up in court in case there was a lawsuit. Obamacare gave them the excuse they needed, " we are cancelling your policy because it is the law !. Now you buy what we have or you will have to pay a fine until you do"'. They don't even have to make a pitch for your business...they're shooting fish in a barrel. Selling maternity benefits to bachelors ! Don't you hate being forced to pay for something you don't need.

The insurance companies did in fact ambush Obama to make him look bad because they don't want rules to be place upon their raping of America. Obama should start a government insurance program cutting out private insurance companies to cut out their operations costs.

An insurance company doesn't care about how politicians look.

They saw an opportunity to make money and are doing so.

The lobbyists and staffers who wrote Obamacare in total secrecy, and that MIT prof who did some of the concepts, look now like morons.

Anybody with half a brain knew that you couldn't stick in a bunch of new Obamacare mandates and still have anything "affordable."

Already happened:

During an interview on NBC Obama administration's HealthCare.gov adviser Jeffrey Zients explained that "those purchasing insurance plans on the Health Insurance Marketplace will be pleased to learn that discussions are underway to significantly increase subsidies to lower and middle income families as a means of offsetting costs to those consumers."

Of course we all know those additional subsidies are nothing but buying votes and will be paid for by a blank check on an overdrawn account.
