When Obama took office, he had one of the highest approval ratings ever.
He also had full control of both houses and the complete and utter, worshipful support of the media.
In short, he could have passed almost anything.
BUT...
The economy wasn't the best. People were scared...
Did he roll up his sleeves, show that he was working hard to help us?
NO! Instead, he pushed HIS agenda. Made his already rich friends and backers even richer at OUR expense. He pushed his elitist friends' pet projects throwing away billions of OUR dollars. He placed political hacks into leadership positions of departments they had no knowledge of, they're only skill is kissing Obama's ass.
While Americans had to cut back and give up life styles they were used to, Obama told us we couldn't eat what we wanted to, we couldn't drive our SUV's and we could not longer heat our homes to 70%, he asked us to sacrifice.
Did Obama make a show of cutting back, living a more modest lifestyle in
sympathy to the many who have not been able to afford the simplest
family vacation for years?
NO! He went on extravagant, in-your-face vacations at OUR expense.
Did he try to live up to the promises of non-partisanship, transparency and accountability he promised?
NO! He did the exact opposite.
There are so many failures but had he done just the above three
things correctly, he (and we) would be in a much better situation now.
He'd probably still have much of that approval rating, maybe even MORE and be assured of reelection. He'd be assured of a prominent place in history, not just the footnote that he may get now.
If he had helped fix the economy, he could probably get ObamaCare passed now, WITH our approval..
His incompetence has proven the fact that he is completely unsuited for the job of POTUS.
Time for him to step aside and let others take over and do what he should have.
I don't like the direction that the nation has taken. I don't like the attitude of the president toward those who disagree with him.
Most importantly, I like Romney. When I hear him speak, I think that he is sincere and genuine (very unlike what Obama and Democrats say about him). I feel good about the nation if Mitt Romney is elected.
Obama let us down, he doesn't deserve 4 mores years of partying on our dime.
