Political discussions about everything

Knowing how much johnforbes hates hypocrisy, I thought he would appreciate finding out how big a hypocrite his choice for President is.

"Trump called on lawmakers to institute the 'death penalty for drug dealers' despite the fact that he pardoned people convicted of selling drugs"

"During a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday, former President Donald Trump called for drug dealers to receive the death penalty, despite having pardoned several people convicted of selling drugs before he left office. "Under Democrat control the streets of our great cities are drenched in the blood of innocent victims," Trump said, adding that drug dealers were responsible for killing hundreds of people every year. "Every drug dealer is responsible and that doesn't include what they've done to families of people that haven't died, but families that are just devastated by what happened to their children and to themselves," he said.

Trump then said he was calling for drug dealers to receive capital punishment, which he claimed would "reduce drug distribution in our country on day one by 75%" and "save millions of lives.""We would solve that problem so fast and I'm calling on Republicans and Democrats immediately to institute, to get to Washington and institute the death penalty for drug dealers. You will no longer have a problem," he said.

Trump used his broad clemency powers as president to grant pardons or commutations to numerous people who were convicted of selling drugs.

In October 2020, Trump granted pardons to four people who had been convicted of non-violent drug charges, including drug trafficking, conspiracy, selling, and distribution. In a statement announcing the pardons, the White House noted all of them had been model inmates who worked to improve themselves while in prison.

"In light of the decisions these individuals have made following their convictions to improve their lives and the lives of others while incarcerated, the President has determined that each is deserving of an Executive Grant of Clemency," NPR reported the White House said at the time.

During his final few days in office, Trump granted pardons and commutations to 143 people. A partial list of those granted clemency, compiled by NBC, showed many of them had been convicted for drug trafficking, conspiracy, or similar charges.

Trump also pardoned Jonathan Braun, a drug smuggler serving a 10-year prison sentence for running a large-scale marijuana ring. The White House said Braun would "seek employment to support his wife and children" but failed to mention that he had also been accused and was under investigation for violent crimes, The New York Times reported."-Business Insider

The floor is now johnny's so he can express his immense outrage at such hypocrisy. Unfortunately, the most likely response will be johnforbes' support for Trump's actions as he completely ignores the hypocrisy.

This is not a thread about Trump, dimwit. Trump is merely incidental to the topic.

This is a thread about hypocrisy which johnforbes repeatedly starts threads about because he pretends he hates it so much. We should all want to know if johnforbes is the worst hypocrite of all and should thus be ignored.

If you can't discuss the topic at hand, do us all a favor and just keep yer pipsqeak trap shut.

Mr. Forbes has been celebrating Labor Day at the beach.

After spending the morning bathing his lean, lithe form in the golden glow of the late summer sun, storms arrived and it began to rain.

It put him in mind of a distant time, when men in planes sought to shoot elephants, and when Tuesday Weld was slender and supple.

Yes, dummy, you DID misread the title. (I'm surprised you could read at all.)

Any educated person who learned to diagram sentences would understand that the "subject" of the phrase is "hypocrisy" while "Trump" is a modifier of the subject. "Trump" is not the subject at hand.

Meanwhile, johnforbes provided the answer to my query demonstrating that he is indeed the greatest of hypocrites since Trump's hypocrisy didn't even faze him. He didn't mention it in his post. He is perfectly accepting of Trump's hypocrisy which proves all of his other posts pretending outrage with some Democrat's hypocrisy are nothing but partisanship and may thus be ignored.

Yes, johnforbes is among the greatest of all hypocrites. He's the very definition of "nonpareil." It is truly pathetic and sad that he actually takes pride in the fact.

Here's another chance for johnforbes to redeem himself of his grotesque partisan hypocrisy.

(Watch time stamp 10:47 to 13:28 to see what Marco Rubio really thinks of Trump's document theft.)

Any president can declassify anything sua sponte.

That is why Bill Clinton was able to keep tapes in his sock drawer.

It is also why Barry O took 33 million pages of documents with him to Chicago without being raided.

So you're saying Trump's hypocrisy and Rubio's hypocrisy don't bother you since you refused to comment on them. Got it.

But this thread isn't about declassification of documents, dimwit. Why do you keep bringing it up?

It's about hypocrisy, which you repeatedly dishonestly pretend to find abhorrent to your prissy sensibilities when the hypocrite is a Democrat. But when it's a Republican, you think it's just fine.

Which means we can ignore every future post of yours concerning a Democrat hypocrite.

And that was the point of this thread; to learn that you deserve to be ignored in the future.

I did not "refuse" comment.

The lash of necessity means that the erudite Mr. Forbes cannot examine each and every item on the
World Wide Interwebs.

He must pick and choose, exercising sagacity as he proceeds through daily deeds diligently.

Yes, you refused, dimwit.

Unlike your typical thoughtless, unattributed posts, I gave you everything you need to know in order to comment.

But you refused again because you are nothing more than a hypocritical partisan douche bag.

Please pause to ponder the many demands upon the time of Mr Forbes.

Amid the swirl of daily events, it remains almost miraculous that he finds a few spare moments to grace this fine forum with his patrician presence.

"Please pause to ponder the many demands upon the time of Mr Forbes."-johnflubs

Unfortunately, I have, dimwit. We all have.

Since August 26th (that's 14 days) johbforbes has taken the time to post 13 useless trolling/spam threads of no interest or discussion value whatsoever. That's almost one per day.

The proof of this assertion is that no one has posted any discussion on them since August 26th.

If johforbes would stop wasting his own and everyone else's time with his trolling and board spamming, he might have time to address legitimate political topics on this forum.
