Political discussions about everything

My understanding is that there were no volume commitments on the pipeline...so that number you cited was just picked out of your ass.

Furthermore, since the Keystone project did not go through, the volumes are being transported by rail and other existing pipelines in the United States to get to the refineries.

So your point is both moot and a nonsensical lie to begin with....or a moot lie? LOL

The Keystone pipeline was never built, therefore it never brought any oil to the United States. So there’s never been any lost supply.

So your claim..."would have delivered".... is not complete.

It is really......."would have delivered to who"....now that is the real question.

When crude is sent to the refineries...you have no idea who the refined product gets sold to? They could sell it domestically or export it to other countries. Just as the volumes were not guaranteed....nor are the buyers.

But the Canadian oil wasn't going to be bought by the U.S., dimwit. It was going to be exported to Canada's foreign customers. They had no obligation to sell it to us.

It was only going to be piped across and spilled on Native American lands, as well as U.S. lands, while Canada got all the benefits from trashing the environment with the dirtiest, most destructive oil on the planet.

Actually, as a park user and hiker, I take the environment as seriously as any of the leftists.

A place like ANWR I'd love to see remain pristine, and in an ideal world I'd have no pipelines at all. The Alaska pipeline was heavily debated long ago and in a way I hated to see it built.

But the real world is the real world. Solar and wind and electric are not yet feasible in terms of affordability and availability, and that means society needs pipelines.

America's energy extraction is the cleanest and best in the world, and it was moronic of Joe to halt Keystone XL while begging Venez/Iran for energy.

But the Canadian tar sands oil is worse than any of the alternatives you named, johnny.

Besides, the Keystone XL wasn't going to carry 'clean' American 'extraction'. It was Canadian 'extraction' to be transported at the expense of Native Americans and the U.S. environment.

As stated previously, we do not live in an ideal world.

Senile Joe didn't want it from Canada or Texas, so he is now begging for it from Venez and Iran which are much worse for the environment.

If Clownslacker were not too busy French-kissing a maple tree (which does not echo his passion), he would realize that.
