It is a tad warmer now, but still below zero F.

Until the bronzed fingers of Mr. Forbes can once again dance merrily across the keyboard of his new computer (a 286 IBM PC clone with a 40 mb Seagate half-height hard drive) he will not participate in Global Warming threads.

It is sad to see that johnforbes is apparently suffering from life-threatening hypothermia which has made him dopey (well, dopier than usual) and completely eliminated his rational thought processes.

First he claims in this thread that global warming discussions are suspended. Then he starts another global warming discussion thread about Obama living rent free inside johnny's head. Nutty. And johnny is also no longer capable of grasping simple English words like "global." Tragic.

Unfortunately, the hypothermia is also keeping johnforbes from being able to consume and digest regular news programs. If he still had rational thought capabilities he would be aware that the Winter Olympics in China are going to be held almost entirely on man made snow because it is so warm in that part of the world that natural winter has been 'cancelled' this year. johnny would also be aware that there is serious discussion about not even holding Winter Olympic Games in the future because global temperatures are rising to the point there isn't enough reliable snow in most areas of the world to hold them any longer.

Hopefully johnforbes will not be found by his family some morning as a blue popsicle because he was so ignorant that he didn't prepare for the unusual local temperature extremes correctly predicted by global warming models.
