Political discussions about everything

Thursday, the Supreme Court blocked the Biden administration from enforcing the latest eviction moratorium imposed by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) over the COVID-19 pandemic.

Even Biden, when he discussed this, seemed to acknowledge that he had no authority to simply do things via executive fiat, as Obama did DACA knowing he lacked constitutional ability to do it.

johnforbes is predictably gleeful about throwing hundreds of thousands of families out into the street to become homeless.

It's a dream come true for Republicans.

Meanwhile, dishonestjohn pretends to be against lockdowns because they could lead to mental health issues, deprerssion, suicides, education interruptions for children, lost jobs, and financial ruin for people.

Dimwit johnny doesn't seem to realize that all those things directly result from homelessness.

Which proves johnforbes is only against those things when they affect rich white people. Otherwise he would be concerned for all the poor and middle class people he is so righteously happy to see go homeless.

To johnny, it's the American way.

The CDC has no authority to invade a private contract and tell some landlord he can't evict a tenant.

This is the corruption of power Lord Acton mentioned.

Even a servile bootlicker such as Clown should recognize that.

Predictably, johnforbes supports throwing hundreds of thousands of families out into homelessness.

It's that "compassionate conservatism" the Republicans mewl about so often.

The CDC does have emergency powers to make calls to support public health, dimwit. If you don't think the public health is important, even after whining about it so often when it might happen to rich white people, then you must be a Trump supporter.

You yourself were here telling us how bad it is for public health to have people lose jobs and incomes in lockdowns. Now you support more people losing jobs, incomes, and their mental health, not to mention their ability to simply bathe, sleep under a roof, and cook food.

The CDC didn't "invade" anything, johnny. Stop being melodramatic.

They simply enacted emergency policies for the public health in a crisis, as they have the power to do.

All those landlords with their 'violated' private contracts could get their contracts paid if they wanted to get them paid.

But many don't want that. They would rather throw people out and raise the rent on the next tenants, as is their conservative God-given right to do.
