Political discussions about everything

Actually, as your video shows, it's just the opposite, that Harris did NOT say she wouldn't take the vaccine if urged by "a president". You made it up. Either provide a time stamp where she used the phrase "a president" or shut up already.

She clearly said--and emphasized precisely because of partisan tools like you would try to twist her words--that she wouldn't take a vaccine if urged by "Donald Trump". That's a quotation from your video.

She did not say she would not take the vaccine if urged by Barack Obama. She did not say she would not take the vaccine if urged by Joe Biden. She did not say she would not take the vaccine if urged by George Bush.

Why must you always rely on dishonest semantics games to make a fake partisan point, johnny? One can only assume you can't come up with any legitimate points to make against Harris if that's the best you can do--intentional forbsian obtuseness.
#131346
johnny, Harris has never been an "anti-vax"er. You made it up.

In fact, she said she would listen to reputable public health officials and get vaccinated when they said the vaccines were efficacious.

"She [Harris] added that she “would trust the word of public health experts and scientists” such as Anthony S. Fauci, “but not Donald Trump.”

It's nearly always a loony tunes Trump supporter who's an anti-vax nut, and you know it, dummy.

But you're right about one thing, for a change. I do deplore people like you telling people to trust Trump when he says you don't need to get vaccinated. Yo0u assholes are endangering the rest of us who care enough about our fellow Americans to get vaccinated and wear masks.
#131348
"Her hatred for Trump was so irrational that she wouldn't take the vaccine."-johnflubs

Yeah, compare that to the 40% of irrational Republicans who LOVE Trump so much they refuse to take the vaccine, johnny.

The difference is, Harris actually got the vaccine, regardless of her 'hate' for Trump. Millions of Trumps supporters still refuse to get one.

So which do you think is more dangerous to America, johnny, someone who hates Trump or someone who loves Trump?

Trump is STILL getting Americans killed for partisan political reasons by refusing to tell his supporters to get the vaccine. Harris is telling people to get vaccinated. See the difference, dimwit?
#131353
"But the Left is now saying that anybody refusing to take the vaccine urged by Dem politicians is bad and crazy."-johnfibs

No, once again you rely on an intentional misrepresentation of the facts to make your disingenuous point.

What they are all ACTUALLY saying is that anybody refusing to take the vaccine urged by epidemiologists and medical experts is bad and crazy. That responsible politicians are also urging people to listen to epidemiologists and medical experts is just the right thing to do if you follow the science and care about America. Even some responsible Republicans are urging people to follow the science, so stop saying it's just Dems urging it. You must include the Repubs in your initial statement as well.

"But the Left is now saying that anybody refusing to take the vaccine urged by Democrat and Republican politicians is bad and crazy."-there, fixed it for you.

Why must you always play dishonest semantics games, johnny? Why does the truth threaten you so much? Are you really that invested in the Republican scam?
#131363
"Kamala said the exact same thing in Oct 2020."-johnfibs

No, she didn't, dummy, and your own link proves she didn't. You made it up, as always.

She said she wouldn't take a vaccine if Donald Trump said to get it ahead of scientific support from the CDC and WHO. Neither would I and neither would you.

But Trump DIDN'T say to get vaccinated, and he still hasn't said it, so your fake point is moot, isn't it.

"The Left is now saying that anybody refusing to take the vaccine urged by Dem politicians is bad and crazy."-johnflkubs

And your imaginary "Left" is absolutely correct, johnny. Anybody refusing to take the vaccine as urged by Dem and Repub politicians is bad and crazy.

Thanks for your support of those urging vaccination, johnny. We have enough crazy Trump supporters without you backing them up on this issue.
#131369
Kamal says today we should trust her as a politician-- Willie Brown's old girlfriend -- telling people to get covid shots.

The Left is now saying that anybody refusing to take the vaccine urged by Dem politicians is bad and crazy.

Kamala said the exact same thing in Oct 2020.
#131371
johnny, simply repeating you amateurish partisan lies won't make them true. That only works on dimwitted people like you. You need to try to actually refute the things I said. But you can't, as always. You just fall back on your mindless droning of the partisan party lines.

Harris, of course, didn't say we should trust her as a politician telling people to get COVID shots. You simply made it up.

And what 'the Left' is actually saying is that anybody refusing to take the vaccine urged by epidemiologists and medical experts is "bad and crazy" (in the terms of your childish propaganda.)
#131379
"She said in Oct 2020, during the VP debate, she would NOT take a covid shot pushed by a politician."-johnfibs

NO, SHE DIDN'T, you dishonest scumbag, and you gave us the link that proved it.

She said she would not get the vaccine on the direction of "Donald Trump." That is the ONLY person she ever said she would not listen to on the subject.

Then she immediately she would take the advice of medical professionals, which she did, and got the vaccine.

Just because "Donald Trump" is not a reliable source of vaccine information does not mean that no other politician is a reliable source of such information, dimwit. Harris NEVER said politicians shouldn't be listened to on this subject. You made it up.

She is still not saying people should listen to her on the subject. She is saying people should listen to public health professionals who tell Americans to get vaccinated. That all she is saying, dishonestjohn, and you can't provide any proof to the contrary.
#131383
Just a little hint for you, dimwit. Joe Biden is NOT "Donald Trump" the only person she ever said she would not listen to on the subject.

Of course, Harris has never said others should do what Donald Trump says to do when she wouldn't. Donald Trump has said people don't really need to take the vaccine if they don't want to. That you repeatedly say Harris wants people to take that advice is moronic. She doesn't.

If you believe she has said people should listen to Trump now and not get the vaccine, then provide the quotation of her saying it.

But you won't because you can't. You made it up.
#131401
Why don't you explain it, dimwit?

Show us you actually understand something about how vaccines work.

And show us how you understand that all vaccines are not equally efficacious and how even in this country it is more important than ever that masks should still be worn by all against the whining and political posturing of irresponsible Republicans killing people just for votes today.

Go ahead, johnny, explain it.

You stepped in our own shit.....again.
#131452
HCQ indeed should have been looked into 18 months ago when it could have helped.

It was cheap and available with 70 years of safety testing.

About 1.8 BILLION got early HCQ, and it reduced mortality by 69 percent.

Elkin's hatred for Trump was so gerat that he didn't care about this enormou chunk of the globe's population.
#131460
I insist nothing.

The figures say 1.8 BILLION people got early HCQ.

Apparently it does little or nothing to help late in the process, but those who got it early had a hugely lower mortality rate to the tune of 69 percent less.

Those are human lives saved, but the Left never cared about that.
#131471
"The figures say 1.8 BILLION people got early HCQ."-johnfibs

No, they didn't get it "early". They got it a year or two earlier (to fight off other diseases) which is not what the medical protocol you are referencing was talking about. When it said "early" it meant within the first three days of symptoms.

You don't get to dishonestly change the meaning of a word in the middle of an argument.

"Apparently it does little or nothing to help late in the process, but those who got it early had a hugely lower mortality rate to the tune of 69 percent less."-johnflubs

Yes, when given within the first three days of symptoms it helped a bit. But as the Delta variant is proving, when you get HCQ a year or two in advance, (as they do in Asia for other illnesses) it does nothing to stop COVID.

Try to stick to the science, johnny, instead of confusing your partisan political opinions with universal truth.
#131477
Right, they got HCQ on a preventive basis.

At the outside of the pandemic, a year ago, serious consideration should have been given to preventive measures from a cheap, available Rx with 75 yrs of safety data.

Remember, today is today, but the pandemic really hit a year and 1/2 ago.

Lives might have been saved and, if it didn't work, no real harm done.

But Trump favored HCQ, so the Left loathed it.
#131479
"But Trump favored HCQ, so the Left loathed it."-johnfibs

johnny, the CDC is not "the Left". Why do you keep insisting they are? They are scientists. The CDC does not decide the outcome of their studies by whatever partisan politics are prevalent at the time. They look at the facts.

The CDC looked into HCQ and found there was no significant reason to prescribe it for COVID prevention because it didn't prevent COVID. It STILL doesn't prevent COVID and it still doesn't stop people from dying of COVID unless prescribed within a very narrow window of time in the treatment of the disease.

But imagine johnforbes insisting people should take a demonstrably ineffective drug as directed by the government when 40% of the country won't even take a proven lifesaving vaccine just because they don't want the government telling them what to do. They also tout Trump's part in the quick development of the vaccines in the same breath they say that they refuse to do anything the government wants them to do, which is to take the vaccines they keep saying are such a great achievement of Trump's.

That's the unfathomable cognitive dissonance of your typical Trump supporter.
#131489
"Of course, the CDC is the part of the Left.
Fauci expressed "love" for Hillary and constantly supports Dems."-johnflubs

johnny, Fauci is not "the CDC." He doesn't even work there. How is that evidence that the CDC is part of "the Left"?

And Birx doesn't work for the CDC either. She was appointed by Trump to the White House Coronavirus Task Force.
How does that make the CDC part of "the Left" regardless of who Birx is married to?

Why must you always post diversions to try to make a fabricate point? Could it be because you just pulled your idiotic point out of your idiotic ass?
#131493
It is not easy to forgive the lack of responsibility displayed by Joe and Kamala in September 2020 when they said they would not follow the president's advice and take covid shots (if developed, which was the status back then).

Even given my undeniable charm, good humor, and good looks, it is difficult to forgive Kumela.
#131502
It is easy to laud the responsibility displayed by Joe and Kamala in September 2020 when they said they would pay attention to public health experts and not be swayed by the president's ridicule of those agencies which has resulted in his followers continuing to eschew the vaccines even in the face of another devastating wave of the virus that is now killing the unvaccinated. Over 95% of those now dying from Covid in the U.S. are the unvaccinated dummies Trump is responsible for.

Given johnny's unconscionable dishonest partisanship, it is impossible for johnforbes to appreciate a woman who was trying to save his life.
#131509
It is not easy to overlook the stunning hypocrisy of Joe and Kamala, who said in Sept 2020 they would NOT take the covid shots if they didn't like the politician urging them.

Today, they urge -- and want to require -- covid shots developed under Operation Warp Speech which Trump oversaw.
#131512
It is not easy to overlook the stunning ignorance of johnforbes on this fake issue.

Biden's and Harris' stance was that they wouldn't take Donald Trump's word on vaccines but would listen to public health professionals on the issue. And they got vaccinated as soon as possible.

Their stance on this issue is EXACTLY THE SAME TODAY. It hasn't changed one bit. They would still not take Donald Trump's word on the vaccines and they still plead with people to listen to the public health professionals on the issue and get vaccinated just as they did.

How can you claim someone who hasn't changed their position on an issue in the slightest is somehow hypocritical about it, dimwit?

You really need to look up the meanings of all these common words you don't understand.
#131523
Look up the term "non sequitur" while you're looking up the term "hypocrisy" johnny.

Since they haven't changed their position on this, everyone should do exactly as they did back the--they didn't listen to Trump and they did listen to public health officials and they got vaccinated.

Why do you have a problem with that sort of consistency, johnny?
#131541
"Kumela and Joe are stunning hypocrites -- saying in Sept 2020 that they would NOT trust or take a vaccine developed by Trump,..."johnfibs

They never said any such thing. Trump didn't develop ANYTHING, dimwit. He sat in the White House ridiculing public health officials while drug companies developed the vaccines by themselves.

Why must you always flail about, desperately seeking some phrasing that can somehow make your lies true? It never works, but it's really pathetic that you can't just tell the truth to make your case. (Aside from the fact that the truth never supports the partisan points you're trying to make.)

And why wouldn't they urge taking a vaccine that public health officials found to be efficacious? Biden and Harris ALWAYS said people should do that. Why do you keep lying by claiming they didn't say that? Everyone knows you;re lying.

It really makes you look ignorant and stupid, just like Trump himself.
#131545
They said precisely that, in Sept and Oct of 2020.

They said they would not take, or trust, a vaccine developed under Trump's Operation Warp Speed, the same ones they are now -- as politicians -- urging others to take.

This is stunning hypocrisy even by the low standards of Dems.
#131546
"They said they would not take, or trust, a vaccine developed under Trump's Operation Warp Speed..."-johnfibs

No, they didn't. You made it up.

And the proof that you made it up is that you can't provide a direct quotation or link to a video of them saying it.

You never can because you never tell the truth when you dishonestly paraphrase people you disagree with.
#131549
They said exactly that, and in almost those very words.

In Sept and also Oct of 2020, less than a year ago, while seeking public office.

Today, as politicians in power themselves, they are pushing the very vaccines developed under Trump's Operation Warp Speed which they said they would not trust Trump's word on.

Those are just the facts, and not even from that long ago.
