From the very beginning, the media contradicted everything the President would say about the virus..
I think everyone understood he tried to calm things down, but the media called the number of cases each day "record-breaking''. and "unprecedented" and showing video clips of crowded ERs.
Then when people began hoarding and actually fighting in stores...the media, at least the local media is where I heard them trying to calm people down...But I think the national media like CNN just stuck to their agenda..!

a) release that info immediately, or

a) Blame the guy who lied to him?

To prevent panic, Trump said he sought to downplay covid.

Fauci defended what Trump said and did, and Saint Anthony of Fauci has been a Democrat demigod all year.

So what you're saying is, Trump lied to you and you are fine with that.

And you blame Woodward for not telling you sooner because if he had you would have believed him and changed your opinion of Trump, right?

Fauci and the Surgeon General have as much as said they lied about masks not being needed through March 31.

They did so because, at first, they all thought the risk to the US was tiny, as Fauci said on Feb 17.

They also wanted to conserve PPE for docs and nurses.

Do I approve of that as an approach?

Well, it might not be necessary for me and thee, but all of them -- Fauci, Birx, and Biden, and the expert doc Biden used -- did the same thing in order to not cause panic.

In other words, this is a bit of a complex issue where everybody thought it was no problem, they went to the Super Bowl, and it only dawned on everybody slowly that the virus would be a problem for America.

In early April, masks were said to be needed and eveybody emphasized lockdowns, sanitizer, etc.

Back in mid-March, my own body -- taut and tan, lean and lithe, strong yet supple -- was on the beach in Florida on vacation.
