There is no connection whatsoever between police shootings and cell phone acquisition of any form. You made it up.

And no Democrat has ever 'applauded' anyone who stole a cell phone and you know it.

Notice how johnfibs is trying to take the broader point of inarguable police brutality disproportionately used against racial minorities and reduce it to just absolute numbers of police shootings, ignoring that the shootings against whites, though greater in absolute numbers, is at a much lower rate than shootings against minorities. But George Loyd was not shot, of course, and johnny is dishonestly trying to shift the discussion away from disturbing police brutality (which people are protesting) to police shootings, which is not the same thing. (Though they are sometimes part of the disproportionate brutality.)

What is telling is that johnforbes' response to systemic police abuse of power is, if shootings happen to whites more in absolute numbers, then he simply shrugs it off as being something we must accept and is unworthy of serious attention. This allows him to ignore what people are actually protesting. He thinks if he changes the subject to something absurd, the problem will miraculously evaporate. (He is much like Trump in that regard. His whole world view relies on an absurd belief in miracles happening when he wants one.)

So why do Republicans like johnforbes minimize and ridicule concern over police abuse of power? (Which should concern every citizen.) Because living in that sort of Banana Republic led by a strongman dictator is their idea of a dream existence. They despise the Constitution and the freedoms it protects.
