Trump wasn't looking into Obama's (not Joe Biden's. He was just the messenger) quid pro quo with Ukraine because he admitted it to reporters on the White House lawn. When asked what "specifically" he expected from the phone call, he didn't say he wanted to look into corruption in general in Ukraine. He said "specifically" he expected investigations into the Biden's, no one else, but neither of the Bidens had anything to do with the corruption that was being investigated about Burisma. Hunter wasn't even on the board at the time.

There was no evidence. Ukraine did not even know the aid was slightly delayed until a month after the phone call, and the aid was only delayed a brief time -- considerably less time than Obama delayed it, and the Left loved Barry.

Also, it was insane to give the 1 billion in aid to beef up Ukraine's border when Democrats want our own borders wide open.

Liz Warren even bragged that illegal aliens helped get out voters recently.

There was no evidence -- just opinions from spys like Vindman -- that something was wrong with the Ukraine call when the facts (the undisputed transcript) showed otherwise.

This was another coup attempt disguised as an impeachment, and it was utterly devoid of evidence.

This is not a forum for children.

Obviously, there are standards of proof such as preponderance of the evidence on up to tougher standards such as beyond a reasonable doubt.

Does every president act -- in part -- for political reasons? Of course.

But Founders such as Madison stated clearly they did not want impeachment to be tantamount to a vote of no confidence as in European parliamentary systems.

Madison did NOT want, or contemplate, that presidents would be impeached for momentary unpopularity or even "maladministration" where they did "wrong" things in the eyes of some voters.

I disagreed with Obama on many (most) issues, but he did nothing impeachable.

Modern Democrats, sadly, can't be that honest or fair.
