Nobody but the IG has any duty to keep a whistleblower's name confidential, so it is proper to say Eric Ciaramella.
As to Vindman, he said he was "never partisan" but now it was revealed he registered as a Democrat in 3 prior locales.
He apparently leaked to the Ciaramella instead of obeying the chain of command and simply following orders as a person on active duty must, particularly where he had no direct knowledge.
Vindman's prior boss, another colonel, said he reprimanded Vindman for anti-American comments to Ukraine people he (and others) witnessed.
