Bernie said all student loans would be forgiven within 6 months of him being elected, only costing tax payers 1.8 trillion. Warren said 95% would be forgiven under her plan, the 5% with wealthy parents will have to pay it back.

AOC has defaulted on her student debt and just refuses to pay it back saying it's unjust that she has to pay anything for the education she received. I do agree with her on that, she's demonstrated that she got ripped off.

-So you have a college debt what do you do, do you default on it like AOC?
-Do you pay it off only to find out those who refused to pay it back are forgiven?
-What's happening is a large percent have stopped making payments on their loans, resulting in interest piling up causing their debt to increase and their credit ratings destroyed, democrats' promises have caused this to happen, are democrats proud of that?
-I paid my student loans off and so have millions of other Americans, will we be getting that money back for doing the right thing?

I would love for someone to ask Bernie those questions during the debate and watch him go blank.

Bernie's plan would send two wrong messages:

1) Run up student loans, but never pay them back.

2) Middle class Americans trying to save and invest for retirement would be penalized every time they make an investment or trade.
