Like I said, I think this whole thing was another Trump chess move...and it worked. Cohen had democrats drooling and got the democrats to show how petty they are by holding the hearings while Trump was in a foreign country trying to avoid WWIII. All they got was Cohen bad mouthing Trump and clearing him of a cover up or Russian collusion. The bad mouthing gave 100% credibility to his following defense of Trump, after all as much as Cohen hates Trump all he could do is admit Trump is innocent of the Russian collusion and never told him to lie. The best work Cohen has ever done for Trump.

They even had Brennan on videotape saying it was terrible that Cohen had gone to Prague and from there mighta been helping Putin.

So even a person in a high intel position knew absolutely nothing about what was going on, and being completely ignorant of the basic facts was nevertheless pushing the Russia conspiracy theory.

Brennan has been caught in several out and out lies to both the FBI and Congress, he's repeated some of those lies to the media. They've been proven to be lies but no raids on his home and no arrest. I'm betting there are tons of classified documents in his home, on USB's and his computers.

Elkin, let me explain what you can believe from any witness -- an admission against his interest.

He said Trump is a racist con man, but that part was written by Lanny Davis (former Clinton lawyer). This is in his interest to say to get a lighter sentence.

The key is that Dems wanted Cohen to say Trump ordered him to lie, that there was a hooker tape, and that there was Russia collusion.

Cohen said no to those key points, and those were the admissions AGAINST his person interest of getting a lighter sentence.
