Looks like those billions in cash both dollars and euros, of our tax money Obama sent Iran was used to pay bribes to make the deal go through. Also explains why Kerry was meeting with top officials in Iran right before the deal was cancelled by Trump.

H.J.Ansari Zarif, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, specifically threatened to expose every corrupt official who accepted bribes to make the Iran deal happen three years ago.

Wrong Again Justme!!!! The "billions" we sent to Iran were assets that we had impounded as one of the sanctions. That is, it was their money in the first place.

There is that argument, but it seems a bit pale and wan.

A U.S. president should consider whether we have any legal or moral obligation to give huge amounts of cash to one of the world's leading sponsors of terrorism.

I care a lot more about whether innocent people will be slaughtered than whether, in some technical way, we might "owe" them the money.

Either way, delivering huge sums in cash in the dead of night, that's a recipe for problems.
