Those news sources and reporters didn't dream up those reports AssClown, they are reporting what the climate change hysterics of the day were hysterically claiming. When the ice age failed to appear, they switched course and went to the opposite extreme, global warming. When that didn't pan out they went to climate change so that no matter what happened they could blame humans. And of course demand new laws restricting our freedoms and new taxes to fund the control.

There were a very few scientists on the fringe that thought it might happen, but the bulk of scientists never bought into it. The majority of scientists still believed in global warming, but they didn't have the data we have today. They were still tentative at the time.
The ice age story sold newspapers, so newspapers and magazines ran with it. But it was not scientific consensus. It was popular journalism.

There's a difference. When will you morons get that through your heads?
