Political discussions about everything

First johnforbes was defending Trump's despicable criminal behaviors with the classified documents he intentionally stole and knowingly stored improperly.

Then he hypocritically criticized Biden for holding classified documents and cooperating with Justice without subpoenas and raids.

Now all of a sudden he claims (being an ignorant "average citizen" all along) that he just doesn't know what is really true after all. Ah shucks, how could he? Little ole johnny?

But will johnny apologize for his previous arrogant partisan posturing defending Trump and attacking Biden due to his Biden Derangement Syndrome? Of course not.

Now if johnny could only understand that in Trump's case there is a miles-long paper trail telling us all EXACTLY what is really true about Trump's obstruction and other criminal behaviors with classified documents.

"According to a new report from CNN, of all places, Biden wasn’t originally willing to consent to have the Justice Department search his home and only agreed to it after Justice Department indicated it would seek a warrant if necessary.

“Biden’s team stresses that it was cooperative in the lead-up to Friday’s search and even expressed an eagerness for the search to happen as expeditiously as possible to move the investigation along – and to try to put the matter behind them,” CNN reports. “For its part, the Justice Department had decided it would conduct the latest search – and any subsequent searches – after Biden’s team handled earlier searches themselves. Federal investigators also were prepared to seek a warrant if they did not get consent to search the Wilmington property, according to multiple sources.”

I would like to thank johnforbes for once again providing the evidence that Biden cooperated with Justice without requiring a warrant to search his home.

Why johnforbes admires and supports Trump for refusing to do the same, and in fact Trump resorted to lies and obstruction in order to avoid cooperating, is beyond me.

No, that merely indicates that Dems looks out for fellow Dems.

Trump cooperated, and Archives personnel visited last June, and he assented to their request to place a stronger padlock on the cage.

That was June 25, but there was a raid in August.

The two different standards of justice are glaringly evident.

johnny, Archives asked for the documents back and never pretended they didn't.

Your silly story about Archives simply asking for a padlock as a remedy to Trump's refusal to return classified documents for more than a year is just more of your partisan stupidity. You made it up.

Meanwhile, you don't dispute that Biden complied with Justice without requiring a warrant and raid the way Trump did.

In fact, you yourself provided the evidence that Biden did just that.

No, in June of last year -- the 25th, if memory serves -- Archives personnel visited, saw the security cage in the basement of Mar a Lago, and recommended a stronger padlock which apparently Trump said okay to.

Then in August came the raid which surprised everybody because Trump's folks had been in regular contact with Archives by many reports.

Two standards -- the Repub gets raided for political publicity, but another dude leaves Ukraine docs in his garage in a house his drug addicted son pays 50k per month to rent, and there are photos of Hunter in the green 1967 Corvette 327, and we know Hunter was on the board of the energy company Burisma with zero credentials other than his access to power.

Two standards of justice, sadly. The words over the Supreme Court are "Equal Justice Under Law."

Of course it "surprised" everyone, dummy. No one in the Trump camp ever believed Trump would ever beheld subject to the law that the rest of us must comply with. Trump had been thumbing his nose at authorities for over a year, ignoring requests to turn over the documents everyone knew were there.

Trump got raided because he had documents he shouldn't have had and refused to turn them over to Archives. It's as simple as that. Biden didn't get raided because he complied with requests to both turn over documents and to allow a search of his home.

If Trump had done the same as Biden, Trump never would have been raided, now would he.

So as we see, it is clearly the same standard of "Equal Justice Under Law" applied to everyone, as it should be. Why you keep lying about this and supporting Trump's criminal behavior is beyond me.

Apparently, a lot of presidents want to retain those documents to have some ghostwriter scribble up their memoirs.

We may never know, but some on the Internet claim that the docs at Wilmington pertained to Ukraine.

If that is true, he may have wanted such info back when Hunter was getting ample remuneration from serving on the board of Burisma.

I hope that that turns out not to be true because that would be incredibly cynical and corrupt, and it would be nice to think better of any politician.

Those of us who are ordinary taxpayers and law-abiding citizens will probably never find out what the heck really happened.
