Fox News’ chief Washington correspondent James Rosen abruptly left the network last month following years of alleged sexual misconduct, according to NPR.

Fox News confirmed that Rosen left the network after 18 years the Friday before Christmas, but never explained why.

Eight of Rosen’s former colleagues at the Fox News bureau in Washington, D.C., however, say he flirted aggressively with his peers and made sexual advances toward three female Fox News journalists, according to the report.

Rosen, who is married with young children, allegedly sent lewd notes to former female co-workers through the company’s internal messaging system.

He also allegedly made physical and sexual advances toward three different journalists, according to the NPR report.

In the winter of 2001, Rosen allegedly groped a female reporter in a cab ride home from a shared meal.

When she refused his advance, Rosen allegedly attempted to steal her sources and poach stories from the reporter.

In a separate incident, a female producer covering the State Department alleged that Rosen sexually harassed her, NPR reports.

The producer, a foreign national, said she agreed to a deal from Fox that allowed her to stay in the U.S. longer in exchange for staying mum about the episode.

In a third case that occurred last spring, Rosen tried to kiss a female reporter in an elevator ride back to the office. She refused, and he tried again, according to two colleagues who say they knew about the incident.

Rosen then asked the reporter not to talk about the incident, and offered to help her advance in her career.

So this fellow sought to steal a kiss in an elevator?

I've visited Verdun, where the mingled bones of over a hundred thousand soldiers may be viewed.

It was a shocking locale, and arguably the greatest battle in human history. About a million men died there. The carnage was astonishing.

But a fellow stealing a kiss in an elevator, now I'm shocked.

If he liked her...then he should have gotten her number and asked her out on a date.
