Liberals Love GOP Tax Plan — As Long As They Think It’s Bernie’s [VIDEO]

A recent video demonstrated just how much liberals love the new GOP tax cuts — when they’re told they’re a part of Bernie Sanders’ plan Also showing what sheep they really are.

Conservative comedian Ami Horowitz approached people on the streets of New York City and asked them whether they liked parts of the Republican tax cut plan.

BUT he told them it was Bernie Sanders’ plan.

Many responded positively to what he had to say.

“I find them to be good for the most part,” one man said about the tax plan.

“Seems like a good thing” another said.

Many were surprised to learn that those details were included in the GOP plan.

“Well, why aren’t they showcasing those aspects of it?” one man asked.

Other videos have demonstrated that many Americans like Republican proposed policies when told that it’s from Democrats. A video from Campus Reform demonstrated that millennials like many of the details of Trump’s tax

The same thing happened when a UCLA Professor wanted to demonstrate how people's decisions can be influenced by ideology as part if his class. Over 90% of the class said Trump's tax reform was good when they were told it was Bernie Sanders plan. In turn over 90% felt Sanders plan was stupid when they were told it was Trump's. The class was in outrage when they were told they had supported Trump's plan only because they thought it was Bernie's. The professor was put on unpaid admin leave for two weeks because he caused the snowflakes to melt down. It was determined to be "insensitive" to trick them.

What this really demonstrates is that libtards don't think, they "feel."
Liberalism is an emotion driven, knee jerk, reactionary ideology that depends on it's adherents willingness to be duped and deceived by their appointed masters.

They have actually had panel discussions on CNN as to what steps Trump needs to take to improve the poll numbers on his tax cut.

Say what?

I was out hiking today (18 F was the high) and all those guys instantly appreciated the tax cut. One fellow said he was only going to get a $300 or so tax cut, but another guy reminded him that was $300 of his own money he could keep.

Doubling the standard deduction (even if personal exemption disappears) is a good thing and will lead to less itemizing.

Our itemized deductions are more than the standard deduction...even when it is doubled. So, I just went and paid off my 2018 property tax bill...to salvage what I could.

The tax cuts are nothing more than another subsidy to red states...

Don't blame the rest of us because you are stupid enough to live in New Jerk City where your masters tax the living shit out of everything in sight.

A possible unintended consequence of the tax bill is a lot of people moving out of blue, high tax States to places where sanity is more common. But many people like Elkindooofus think the world ends at New Jersey and can't imagine going anywhere else. One hell of a lot of lemmings have never been out of the five boroughs and are afraid to do so.

Which may be a good thing.
We don't need people like that in the civilized world.

Elkin, what you said is true of many investors who own houses or have lots of kids or have a goodly amount of affluence.

You probably also have to do the AMT worksheet every year as well.

But I was talking about the average Joe in middle America, who thinks this tax bill is just another ripoff and there's nothing in it for him.

He will find out starting in February, and the average fellow will be pleased and surprised.
#97969
johnny, the "average Joe" isn't going to be able to see a difference at all in their paycheck.

For low income people it will be five bucks a week more, which won't buy them a movie or a meal at McDonalds.

And for someone making $40,000 there might be $100 more which again means little to someone in that financial bracket, though it might allow them to put a tiny amount into their kid's college fund, which is good, but it's temporary chicken feed and it goes away in a few years. And while some may notice a larger paycheck, many will also see reductions in their deductions as well, like the state and local taxes thing. They will actually end up paying more.

Meanwhile, guys like Trump and Corker are permanently cramming millions more into their pockets year after year.
And they won't be pestered by that alternative minimum tax thing that ensured they had to pay SOMETHING each year.

What could possibly be wrong with that, johnny? Hypocrites just love the smoke-and-mirrors thing, I know.

Why should "anyone" who pays no federal income tax, and are the biggest consumers of tax money, get a federal income tax refund?
#97971
^^^^And here we see the hypocrisy of the conservatards again.

The guy isn't getting a "refund" dummy. He's getting $5 less withheld from his check.
The guy couldn't have it withheld unless he earned it, you despicable excuse for a human being.
That's what conservatives are always whining about, "the working guy should be able to keep more of his earnings."

But now we see the truth behind it all. Conservatives actually despise the little guy who only earns $20,000 a year. Conservatives see them as "freeloaders" and undeserving of a tax break.
This is what powers the entire tax bill; the belief that wealthy people somehow 'deserve' their money while the poor working man doesn't.

This is the kind of dishonesty that allows morons like namandgulfdumbfuck to fall for the humorless video in the first place.
He honestly can't see why someone would think a tax plan might be okay when the only information given is the cherry-picked good stuff and all the horrendous stuff is left out of the information.
#97975
The typical person will be able to avail himself of the doubled standard deduction, and that will overcome the loss of the personal exemption.

Fewer people will have to itemize, and the brackets are favorable to pretty much everybody genuinely in the middle class.

Just as it was easy to say, a year ago, that Trump would be good for investors, it is easy to say that most Americans who pay any taxes at all will love this new tax reform.

I'm gonna have to pay a lot because of capital gains, but that just reflects what investors deal with.

The Comrade AssClown Loser Marxist Tool has been instructed by his masters, the Commisars in the Peoples Glorious Revolutionary Politboro to continue to push the big lie about the tax bill only benefiting the Bourgeoisie and punishing the proletariat. For this effort he hopes, after the revolution, to be named to an important party position such as third deputy under secretary to the substitute alternate inventory clerk in the Peoples Glorious Revolutionary fencepost production and warehousing collective #5 just outside of Minsk.
#97978
Again the AssClown Loser Tool Insipid has nothing but made up stupid shit.

Notice the AssClown couldn't refute a word I said, and because he can't wield facts or reason, he resorts to blather to distract from his dearth of argument.

Of course, no one ever said that there aren't scraps being thrown to the middle class for a few years to divert attention from the permanent and obscene give away to the richest in this country.

I invite the AssClown to return and comment on the tax legislation when he has some rational or factual argument to make. Who here believes he will actually do that?
Myself, I expect nothing but more Commie dick posts from him. :o

Actually we need those people to do the little jobs but they shouldn't get a larger tax refund than they paid in taxes...but they do. Trump should have mandated that no one can receive a larger refund than they paid in. Why can't you libtards grasp that simple fair concept?

CNN suggests since the Doug Jones win in Alabama...the Demos are now on a roll and
could run on the agenda that if they take control of Congress
their first action will be to impeach President Trump...

"their first action"?

Criminy, nobody's going to do anything about Trump until the Mueller investigation is done. (Well, unless his own staff takes things into their own hands, which admittedly is quite possible. :o )

Come on, silly, please check back into the real world.

Your right. Mueller has been on this for a year now and found nothing, nada, zero, silch..At least on Trump. ON killery hes dug up a ton of garbage. LMAO.

The main thing found by this "investigation" has been that 100 percent of the people he hired were partisan Democrats.

Before, he had a so-so reputation from his tenure at the FBI -- nothing really great, but not a totally unfair person either.

Then, failing to exit the stage in D.C., he embarked on this with every single staff member hired favoring Hillary and hating Trump.

Plus, wasn't he Comey's mentor and thus biased that way too?
