A Trump administration analysis has concluded that its effort to undo Obama’s climate plan could kill some 100,000 Americans over the next few decades.

Compared to 2015 calculations by the Environmental Protection Agency — done under the Obama administration — this new, updated analysis by Trump’s EPA actually raises the projected death toll from undoing the Clean Power Plan, the Obama-era rule aimed at cutting carbon pollution from power plants and preserving a livable climate, while creating jobs.

Last month, EPA administrator Scott Pruitt announced he would begin the process of undoing the plan. We wrote at the time it could mean up to 3,600 more premature deaths (and up to 90,000 more asthma attacks in kids) annually by 2030.

snake, it's kind of sadly endearing that you still think any Republicans would actually care about the quality of people's lives and that that alleged concern motivates their politics in any way.

Just look at the votes. See if there is anything but straight party line voting on this issue.
The only exceptions are Republicans who are dying already. They finally get it.
Unfortunately, that's what it takes to wake one of them up.

"Could kill," "may kill," "Might kill."

I may win the lottery tomorrow too.

Obozo was trying to put the coal industry out of business and it wound up costing the Donkey-Rats the votes of West by God Virginia. One mine in Wyoming laid off 400 workers in anticipation of his foolish plans. A couple guys committed suicide as a result of losing their jobs. That wasn't "may die," they did.

I see every day the efforts power generation facilities are putting in to clean energy. Because I'm there almost every day, later on this morning in fact. None of you are. Not even the all knowing Google master.

Wind and solar are fine, but there's no way they can keep up with demand.

And you libtards shit your pants anytime someone says nuclear energy.

http://fortune.com/2016/05/11/germany-excess-power/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
On Sunday, May 8 Germany produced so much electric power that prices were actually negative. As in, customers got paid to use the electrical system.

The crazy high energy production was due to an especially sunny windy day in the European nation, meaning that wind farms and solar panels were able to make even more renewable power than usual, reports Quartz.

In total, 87% of the power produced in Germany was made at solar, wind, hydro and biomass plants during that day. The average percentage last year was 33%.
Renewables can't keep up? This business magazine must be reporting fake news then.

All you know is what you choose to read Snake.
All the coal plants I deal with are expanding like crazy, now that Obozo is gone. They are pushing to build more too.

The sun goes down at night and The wind doesn't always blow, but the coal-fired plants keep churning out the megawatts 24/7.

Cleanly and efficiently.

I see it
You read about it.
Big difference.

See if you can debate without the sophomoric condescending liberal nonsense about wagon wheels.
We already have one of those assholes here.

I care deeply about the quality of Clownslacker's life.

That is why I've devoted the past 47 years online to attempting to repair the yawning gaps in his knowledge.

Intrepid...Guilty as charged...To a point. I do read extensively, always non-fiction. I continue the habit from College of reading one book a week. My Kindle app currently has 58 books on it and my Nook has 28. Since no one can know everything on every subject, reading helps to expand my knowledge. My job now keeps me at home about 90% of the time but at one time I was traveling 90% of the time. That said, I've seem and learned a lot about the world.

My posts are mainly about what I perceive as problems in this country that we should be addressing. I keep having the hope that someday our board members will start investigating the facts and start really debating all the while keeping partisan politics out of it. I learned long ago that the pols don't care about me at all, they are in the game for themselves. The special interests have a lot more money to spend on politicians than I do, so I (and you) am at the back of the line.

But! Snake, do you or can you comprehend. No matter how much you read it depends on what you are reading and how do you absorb it. Seems to me many libs can read.. However you Clownlicker, Elkdoofus and doggyshit seem to have a trouble comprehend what they do read.
You see everything in bright rainbow and unicorn colors while wearing you rose colored glasses. The rest of us can see reality and think beyond the end of our noses and we do use a knee jerk reaction to a situation.

Many time.... Ok its had to be a bazillion times that we have proven you wrong.

Namgulfvet...(Damn that's a long military career)...By your post I take it that you mean anyone that doesn't agree with you doesn't understand what they are reading. Isn't wonderful that you now have a "cause" that you can spout gibberish about? A question; has Trump lived up to your expectations? That fact that most of the world's leaders are laughing at us shouldn't bother you. The fact that FactCheck.org has proved that 39% of his statements are false and many others are just misleading surely mustn't bother you.

Trump says that we are the highest taxed country in the world. I posted proof that we are not. The only countries taxed less than the US are Mexico, Chile, Cuba and Korea. Don;'t worry about it though because the infrastructure will fix itself. Hey! Maybe we can get Mexico to fix our infrastructure since they are paying for the wall that won't do a thing to keep out illegal immigrants. By the way, the majority of illegals are ones that overstayed their visas.

Remember the promise to remove and replace ObamaCare on his first day in office? I can hear him now, "We will have the greatest health plan in the world and your premiums will be so low." I took that to mean that he had a health plan already drawn up so that he could sign it on his first day in office. Silly me! So far the GOP plans have been drawn up to take health car away from people not to help them get health insurance. Hospitals have to help the sick under the law whether they have insurance or not. If people can't pay, the hospitals are going to have to find someone else to pay the bill. Oh, you have health insurance so we can jack up your bill. But then again, the insurer is going to have to jack up your premiums.

Lately, he has been threatening to clamp down on the press. Isn't that the first thing most dictators do? Wouldn't that be a violation of our Constitution? Lying press? If that is so why don't we take the press to court and force them to prove their statements. But then again that, might not be such a good idea because some things might come out that are best left hidden.

His tax plan has just been published. It will increase the deficit by two trillion dollars. That doesn't sound too good to me. Where is this money going to come from to fix our infrastructure? But then again, Trump's tax bill will go down so maybe it will all wash out. BTW, it came out on the news today that Mueller has had Trump's tax returns for a couple of months now. Speaking of reading, I'll bet that is great reading.

It seems most have forgotten Trump's remarks about sexually abusing women. He might be cured now. I would love to know how the First Lady took that news. I still have a problem with his comments about his own daughter though.

Being a military man, I'm sure you are pleased Trump is going to make our military great again. But,we now spend more on our military than the next twelve nations combined. I posted a while back about the F-35. The DOD Cheif Testing Officer said the F-35 will never be ready for combat. I'm sure that Trump has canceled that four hundred billion dollar contract though.

Trump is getting rid of the deadwood in his office though. Even now his AG is getting his feet held to the fire. Sessions will probably be fired for lying to Congress so that Trump can appoint an AG that will fire Mueller. That should be fun to watch. That just might be the end of Trump though. We can only hope.

As I posted on another site.....The liberals should have nominated "hope" instead of Hillary
with "maybe" as the VP running mate....

Hillary's tax returns would make better reading.

Any billionaire has a team of accountants and tax lawyers comb through such returns.

The people who think there is enlightenment in tax returns should realize the fruit they are seeking to pick is in financial disclosures.
