On the evening of Nov 8, the networks were citing exit polls to the effect that Texas had brought in enough California liberals to Austin, and that there were enough illegal immigrants voting for Dems, so that Texas would go for Hillary.

The liberal press was trying to suppress Repub voting with exit polls which all suggested Trump had no chance.
