Breaking: FBI Email Dump Reveals Collusion Between Media And DOJ
August 5, 2017 By Regan Pifer
First, the Comey FBI lied to us. Last July, we sent FOIA requests to both the Comey FBI and the Lynch DOJ asking for any documents related to the Clinton Lynch plane meeting. The FBI, under the then directorship of James Comey, quickly replied that “No records responsive to your request were located.”

The documents we received today from the Department of Justice include several emails from the FBI to DOJ officials concerning the meeting. One with the subject line “FLAG” was correspondence between FBI officials (Richard Quinn, FBI Media/Investigative Publicity, and Michael Kortan) and DOJ officials concerning “flag[ing] a story . . . about a casual, unscheduled meeting between former president Bill Clinton and the AG.” The DOJ official instructs the FBI to “let me know if you get any questions about this” and provides “[o]ur talkers [DOJ talking points] on this”. The talking points, however are redacted.
Another email to the FBI contains the subject line “security details coordinate between Loretta Lynch/Bill Clinton?”

On July 1, 2016 – just days before our FOIA request – a DOJ email chain under the subject line, “FBI just called,” indicates that the “FBI . . . is looking for guidance” in responding to media inquiries about news reports that the FBI had prevented the press from taking pictures of the Clinton Lynch meeting. The discussion then went off email to several phone calls (of which we are not able to obtain records). An hour later, Carolyn Pokomy of the Office of the Attorney General stated, “I will let Rybicki know.” Jim Rybicki was the Chief of Staff and Senior Counselor to FBI Director Jim The information that was to be provided to Rybicki is redacted.

Also of note several of the documents contain redactions that are requested “per FBI.”

It is clear that there were multiple records within the FBI responsive to our request and that discussions regarding the surreptitious meeting between then AG Lynch and the husband of the subject of an ongoing FBI criminal investigation reached the highest levels of the FBI.

However, on October 21, 2016, the Comey FBI replied to our legal demands that “No records responsive to your request were located.”

Second, the hundreds of a pages of (heavily redacted – more on that below) documents paint a clear picture of a DOJ in crisis mode as the news broke of Attorney General Lynch’s meeting with former President Clinton. In fact, the records appear to indicate that the Attorney General’s spin team immediately began preparing talking points for the Attorney General regarding the meeting BEFORE ever speaking with the AG about the matter.

And, of course, you might ask…why isn’t this being reported anywhere else?

Why is this not headline news on MSNBC or CNN?

If you don’t know, I’m sure an email dump next year will help you connect the dots…

What's funny is the FBI's number one priority at the moment is to stop leakers to the media and their prior director bragged of leaking to the media. Comey lost all my respect at that moment, that's about as low as a federal employer can be.

And since when does the FBI or DoJ have, or need, "talking points"?

We would all hope the FBI and Dept of Justice would simply give the truth.

Loretta Lynch used her grandmother's name, Elizabeth Carlisle, to email DoJ.

Was this an attempt to defeat future FOIA requests?

It actually is sad when you simply cannot depend upon a law enforcement agency to honestly tell you whether a FOIA request can be met or not.

Over FOUR HUNDRED DOCUMENTS existed, but Judicial Watch was told none did.

Why would the Attorney General herself use an email alias to hide her comments on the tarmac fiasco?

And the Duped and Deluded Useful Idiots clamor for more Russia conspiracy nonsense while many of their leadership need to have their asses thrown in prison.

I have not seen this myself, but somebody on TV was saying Comey had indeed personally signed off on that FOIA saying there were no documents related to the tarmac meeting.

Now we know there were OVER FOUR HUNDRED.

James Comey is a complicated but simple figure in Washington. I as an essay expert believe he is an honest man which is very unique in this town. The same honest man that reported that Clinton investigation was over then was obligated to correct that statement when the investigation was reopened. If anyone thought he was truly trying to influence the election so he could work with President Trump, then you only need to listen to his testimony to understand that was not his desire. President Trump is accustomed to being a CEO not a President. He makes demands and gets what he wants, uses leverage to drive results. Very clear he attempted to do the same thing with Mr. Comey. Whether it's an impeachable crime matters less to me than what he did was clearly wrong and the fact that President Trump will continue to struggle in his role. The country needs better than this.

Remember when Trump said Comey had better hope he didn't record their conversation? Well it's come out now that Comey had leaked to a media source what Comey claimed Trump had told him during that meeting and it was very damaging to Trump. Comey came off that lie during his testimony because he feared Trump had recorded it, the media source (CNN) who had released what Comey would be saying during his testimony had egg on their faces when Comey didn't go through with his lie. Comey, the DOJ and several intelligence operations had set out to take President Trump down and Comey's lie was suppose to be the dagger through the heart, he chickened out when he thought their conversation might have been recorded.

Trump's chess move of suggesting the conversation was recorded kept Comey honest and saved his presidency. Now we learn Comey out and out lied concerning there being no emails concerning Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s tarmac meeting with Bill Clinton. On top of that he was serial leaker of classified and sensitive information to the media. The firing of Comey was on of the best moves Trump has made, now there should be criminal prosecutions.

There is an absolute mountain of evidence justifying a special counsel to investigate Hillary, Susan Rice, Rhodes, and so on.

Even looking at what Comey said in July 2016, it is crystal clear Hillary violated the statute re classified material.

When Comey said no reasonable prosecutor would go forward against Hillary, that was also false.

Meanwhile, there's a special counsel for Trump with zero factual evidence to support it.
