Humanity.....as least some aspects of it.....advances, JJ. Hindsight tells us that there was really no good reason or excuse for doing many of the things that humans have done. It's nice to see that some "humane" things do actually get done by us humans. Many of those women or transgenders that you suggest would have "handcuffed the generals", could kick both your and my asses together.

I do agree that sometimes, some of the PC shit is absurd, but that's just me. Others may feel differently, and I don't necessarily agree with the idea that "Might makes Right".

I too would have preferred that John McCain had been POTUS. It embarrasses and frightens me that Palin got that close, and I firmly believe that without her on the ticket, McCain would have won.

I also would prefer that Jeb Bush was POTUS now. He was my second choice, right after Hillary.
