Political discussions about everything

No, what he's saying is that he doesn't see multi-billion dollar military contracts as a "benefit" nor the farm subsidies to mega corporations as a "benefit", nor the military that protects corporate assets overseas as a "benefit", nor Trump eliminating IRS oversight of the super rich as a "benefit" nor the peddling of influence in promoting the overseas investments for the wealthy as a "benefit" nor the tax loopholes in the law designed specifically to favor a few rich people as a "benefit".

johbnforbes pretends he's not naive about the world and politics, but he fails to recognize that the pittance doled out to average Americans is nothing compared to the trillions of dollars that move to the pockets of a very few.
He doesn't get that the national debt is intentionally designed to transfer money from the middle class to the wealthy and create a permanent slave class. As I've told you before, 20 people in this country already own more wealth than the bottom 50% of Americans. And johnny weeps for the rich when they are asked to contribute a few million more to the general welfare as a token recognition for the billions they received last year off the backs of the average American.

The debt won't be paid down because the rich don't want it to be paid down. To them it's the holy grail of gravy trains. Fiscal responsibility will never come out of Washington regardless of the party in control. We see it already with the "tax reform" that is being talked about by Republicans which will balloon the debt---again---and the reduction of benefits to tens of millions through the Republican 'health care' bill, which is nothing but a tax cut bill for the already wealthy. No "compassionate conservative" would even consider voting for it. Even Trump admitted it is just plain "mean".
#90534

First of all it's not the government's money that's being doled out, it's the money of the 50% that pay income taxes. So clown why are you avoiding the question of what should be done about North Korea?
#90538
"First of all it's not the government's money that's being doled out, it's the money of the 50% that pay income taxes."-RealIgnorant

First of all, you just proved you didn't read my post, Tool.

Or if you read it, you clearly didn't understand it. No one ever said it was "the government's money that's being doled out". You just made it up, as always.

"So clown why are you avoiding the question of what should be done about North Korea?"-RealStool

I'm not avoiding the question, dummy. I already answered it a while ago.
I'm just sparing everyone the answer by not posting it since you aren't interested anyway.
You clowns won't be happy until we are at war again, and a nuclear war is the ignorant wet dream of the Trump Right. That's what it will take to make a Trump conservative feel like a man again.

I once visited the mansion of the fellow who, a century ago, was the second or third richest man in America.

His mansion was impressive, but it lacked central AC, it lacked TV, it lacked laptops, etc.

Defining upward the meaning of "poverty" is a big advance of America.

Are folks in the bottom 47 percent living better than those above them? Surely not, but they lack the drive, the work ethic, the education, etc.

But they sit in air conditioned welfare apartments playing on their free (to them) cell phones.

Is it easy to claw your way out of poverty? No, but it can still be done.
#90558
Can you define "rich"? Do you mean a person who has a 5 million dollar net worth?

I'd say a "rich" person begins at about 50 million, eh?

What legislation do you mean?

A poor person can still get a good education with loans, and if minority get affirmative action (reverse racism) to help.

The middle class doesn't fund the rich except in the sense that Apple buyers help shareholders.
#90574
That's what I said, dimwit. You're the one complaining you can't "afford" the care the poor receive.

Expanding medicaid to cover everyone (that means you would then "qualify", dummy) you would then be the recipient of the same 'unaffordable' high quality care you say the poor receive.
#90599
Listen carefully comrade AssClown. Do you hear anything except the voices inside your head?

No. So how is RJM supposed to hear those same voices that control you?

Do you hear the emoticons laughing too?
Seek help soon comrade AssClown.
Or just end your pain now.
#90602
^^^^^ That's just great! Now I'm going to be held responsible for the AssClown Steppinfetchit's psychotic break. :o

Sure, I own him, but I didn't mean to break him. It was an accident!

I hope he can still dance. Let's watch and see.....

I think what RealTool is really trying to say without actually saying it is:

"Should we wait until North Korea Launches nukes to launch our nukes?"

Try to figure it out, Tool. See if you can discover the hidden irony.
Then call Trump and tell him what you figured out.
#90611
We work with the appropriate partner...Japan, China, S. Korea, maybe Taiwan.....

And we covertly work to sabotage the entire N. Korea missile systems and possibly the nuke production.

If possible. Somehow shut down their capability without them knowing who did it...

That's what I would do. But, not up to me....
#90623
Clown "We should wait until North Korea Launches nukes to launch our nukes"
Clown, TVD's plan is much better than yours.

I would take it one step further, I think we shoot down any ICBM launched to kill their testing. So far they've only fired one ICBM, it was a complete success, we watched them fuel it and then launch it. I suspect their are two reasons we didn't shoot it down, number one being is the confidence level of taking it out was low and it would be a total PR disaster if we tried and failed. The second reason this being the first ICBM North Korea was testing we wanted to see how far along they are. I believe those two factors out weighted trying to take it out.

See clown that's how we discuss the topic of a thread.
#90626
^^^^^

That's funny, Tool. Really.

You started a thread pretending to ask what we should do about Kim.
You just "discussed" why Trump DIDN'T do anything about Kim or his missile launch.
(To be fair, macho man Trump DID tell China to deal with Kim, so I guess he did something. )

That's what you call "discussing" the topic of a thread.
#90637
Kim is the type of person that will proceed with his nuclear attack plans, short of being turn into a Pop-Tart. If China clamps down on Kim, he'll allow his people to suffer even more while he hastens his nuclear weapons development. The dude doesn't have a grasp upon reality and no amount of sanctions on North Korea is going to keep him from his fine dining and parties. Action by China would certainly influence the people of Korea, but until Kim's a pop-Tart, the people of North Korea have no say in what North Korea does.
#90642
It's best that we drive someone in his inner circle to take Kim out, we can do that by playing on Kim's insecurity. We simply start planting information that certain top officials in his inner circle are planning on killing him. Kim in turn has them killed, we then plant more names and their plans to kill him, Kim has them killed. We do again and again until his inner circle gets the point and takes Kim out. It's a double win for us, Kim's most dangerous generals are taken out by Kim and the remaining ones take Kim out before it's their turn. We break the bond of loyality resulting in a peaceful transition after Kim is removed. It would work and we wouldn't have to fire one round.
#90655
Aside from it having no basis in reality, it's a really good idea.
So you don't think Kim would kill a top aide if he had information the aide was going to bring him down? With all our resources and 40,000 plus intelligence agents being paid by our tax dollars they shouldn't need my help to tell them how to plant the seed of suspicion. They should play Kim like a fiddle.
#90707
I shed no tears for the really rich.

Bill Gates, that ilk.

But the problem is that, when the modern Left cites "The Rich," they tend to mean upper middle class taxpayers who are in the doctor/dentist/lawyer category of having a net worth about 3 to 5 million.
#90721
But the problem is that, when the modern Left cites "The Rich," they tend to mean upper middle class taxpayers who are in the doctor/dentist/lawyer category of having a net worth about 3 to 5 million.
Agree, Seattle just approved a special "city" income tax of 2.5% on "rich" people who earn more than 250K a year. 250K in Seattle is rich???
#90757
No, it sure isn't there.

This is a basic point of dishonesty in Left Wing rhetoric.

If you taxed Bill Gates at 90 percent, you'd get no serious amount of money in terms of national revenue.

Where the real money is is with the middle class.

So the Left pretends middle class people are "rich" and taxes them.
#90761
Well I'll be dammed Johnnie.

The conservatives are trying to repeal Obamacare which will eliminate the Medicaid subsidies for the poor which will be used to fund corporate tax breaks and bonuses for executives.

Talk about being a fucking hyprocrite...
#90764
Come on, Elkin, you aren't brain-dead and thus you surely know there will be block grants to states.

Are you really such a naif as to imagine that everybody on Medicaid will die in the street?

But I do agree with you that Repubs should just let Obamacare crash and burn on its own.

Given stubborn Dems, why should the GOP do anything except rescind the indiv mandate?
#91437
While democrats shoot their wad on the sins of Trump people talking to Russia, North Korea takes another step closer to delivering nukes to mainland America.

Dudes, we need to start bitch slapping our representatives to get their heads back into the game.
#91439
"While democrats shoot their wad on the sins of Trump people talking to Russia..."-RealStupid

RealTool actually thinks Mueller, Nunes, Burr, and Rosenstein are DEMOCRATS!

That's how stupid those on the Right are.
Republicans are running everything and they still blame Democrats.

Fucking imbeciles...

"...North Korea takes another step closer to delivering nukes to mainland America."-RealStupid

So what's Trump doing, Tool?
Now you're actually blaming Democrats for TRUMP's incompetence.
#91458
"Are you really such a naif as to imagine that everybody on Medicaid will die in the street?"-johnfoibles

Are you really such a naif that you find using hospital emergency rooms as primary care facilities for the poor is a preferable and acceptable solution to the health care problem in America?

That's exactly what Republicans are offering to "fix" Obamacare, johnny.

And by the way, your last point isn't relevant to anything.
Nobody "wants" to get sick or injured, but they do whether they "want" medical insurance or not.
#91485
Agree Trump needs to just stay on course and let Obamacare collapse as it's written and ask the Democrats who are 100% in support of it, try and fix it. A win, win for Trump. I hope Trump is following me today on my blogs, lots of good advice being put out.
#91486
"No one person -- not one -- is losing a thing."-johnfibs

I thought there were supposed to be some MDs in your family, johnny.
Are they aware of your gross ignorance on this topic?

Have you told THEM you think emergency rooms are the place the poor should receive their medical care?
If so, did you get their spittle all over you when they were laughing in your face?

Right now tens of millions of poor and needy people, through Medicaid assistance, can now see a primary care physician before they get seriously sick to where they need an emergency room. And it is far less expensive to the taxpayer to keep people healthy than it is to fix sick people in emergency rooms.
Republicans are talking about cutting $700 Billion out of the Medicaid system. Millions will lose their current doctors.
(I thought you clowns believed it is a deal breaker that someone should lose their doctor.)

You and the rest of the Republicans want to eliminate that part of their care, so the poor ARE going to be losing something if Republicans have their way.
#91487
A lot of the people on Medicaid these days, of course, are able to work and only on that program due to its expansion.

This whole discussion has been conducted dishonestly by Democrats.

It is NOT about health care, but about health insurance.

EVERY illegal immigrant will still get free (to them) care.

EVERY bum like Clownslacker will get free (to them) care.
#91490
"It is NOT about health care, but about health insurance."-johnfibs

Not exactly, johnny. "Health insurance" (or the lack of it) determines "healthcare".

It's disingenuous to pretend it's "about health insurance" beyond the reality that it's about taking health insurance away from the poor, not replacing insurance for the poor.
Millions now have health insurance who didn't have it previously, and under the Republican plan, millions of them WON'T have health insurance any longer. And with that, their healthcare will not be as good as it is now.

They will be clogging emergency rooms with sniffles and coughs and avoidable illnesses. And that, as your siblings will tell you, is just plain stupid. And anyone who believes that's a practical solution is just plain ignorant.

But don't take my word for it, johnny. Ask any ER doc or nurse.
