The gunman who opened fire this morning on Republican congressmen and staffers recently declared in a Facebook post that, “It’s Time to Destroy Trump & Co.”

The accused shooter, James T. Hodgkinson, 66, posted a link to a Change.org petition in late March that included the notation that, “Trump is a Traitor. Trump Has Destroyed Our Democracy. It's Time to Destroy Trump & Co.”

I am now reading the shooter was not armed with an AK or an AR, but with an SKS. Which, if true, explains why he couldn't hit shit.
Also, in original, as issued military configuration, are fed with stripper clips, not detachable mags.

Incidentally, I'm waiting for the multiple irate posts from johnforbes castigating the Republican Senate for their health care bill procedures. The bill is being written in private, no one has seen it, there are to be no hearings on it, and no amendments are being allowed.
It's almost as if they expect to "ram it through" a vote without a single Democrat (or anyone else for that matter) knowing what's in it.
