"White House Details Ethics Waivers for Ex-Lobbyists and Corporate Lawyers"
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/31/us/p ... .html?_r=0
Read it and weep.
No, really.
The Trump White House has issued more ethics waivers in four months than the Obama White House did in eight years.
Breitbart is now the official propaganda arm for the Administration. Bannon runs back and forth between Breitbart and the Oval Office. And he got a "retroactive" ethics waiver, which is an admission that he broke ethics rules already.
There are a bunch of lobbyists on Trump's staff who can still lobby for former clients.
And there are more waivers coming for Federal employees not on his staff.
It will be interesting to see which conservatives here will now argue that it's fine to have a White House full of lobbyists for both private sector and political organizations. I'm guessing all of them will.
