Political discussions about everything

The claim that Kushner set up a back channel to Russia means that there was no link between Trump and Russia.

So the one Left Wing conspiracy theory destroys the other one.

Meanwhile, EVERY PRESIDENT SINCE WOODROW WILSON HAD A CHANNEL TO RUSSIA.

And it was actually Russia that suggested the back channel idea.
The funny thing is Jarad wanted to meet in a Russian facility out of fear the Obozos lackies would try to surveil the meetings.
Which, of course it has been proven, they did.

There is no longer even the slightest doubt that Trump was correct that he was "wiretapped."

To keep the gravy train going, intel folks apparently surveilled Trump for political reasons, and even the FISA court rebuked them for going over the line.

Congress is going to have to strip away some intel authority or at least make it difficult for politicians such as Barry to abuse it.

I doubt that you doubt.

(Yes, that was a "Double Indemnity" joke.)

Kidding aside, though, the Jared story totally destroys the Russia link story which CNN has been pushing for 6 months.

No, I absolutely do have, at a bare minimum, the slightest doubt.

johnny, it's almost like you pride yourself on your willful ignorance.

Jared failed to report dozens of contacts with the Russians. His "back channel" stuff is only one of his 'oversights' on his SF86. Only after he was discovered lying did he bother to admit what he had done.

This actually SUPPORTS the contention that there was a connection between the Trump campaign and the Russians, dimwit.

Kushner------on the Trump campaign when he has now admitted he "forgot" he was 'forging ties' meeting with Russians over many months
Russians-----many of them are found in Russia
Kushner + Russians= "Trump campaign/Russia ties"

It's simple arithmetic, dummy.
Theoretically removing one of these dozens of interactions does nothing to clear Trump or his campaign.

Oh come on, every president since Woodrow Wilson had a back channel to Russia.

Were it otherwise, JFK couldn't have solved the Cuban Missile Crisis.

This "story" is merely indicative of Left Wing desperation to attack Trump.

In the real world, people want GDP growth and secure borders and E-Verify.

In the real world, citizens don't want 7000 illegal immigrants voting in Virginia.

Yes, johnny, that bit of information will definitely change your perspective on the "Trump campaign/Russia ties" debate which seems to stymie and mystify the typical reactionary Trump supporter.

Dog, johnny thinks that by setting up back channels like other Presidents have done, Jared was not doing anything questionable or illegal.

First, he dishonestly fails to mention that "back channels" in politics and government are for enemies or those with whom we don't already have diplomatic relations. They allow communication between two parties who can't talk officially.
Trump insists Russia is a friend AND we already have diplomatic channels, so a back channel with Russia serves no purpose but to hide shady dealings from Congress, law enforcement, and the American people.

It also doesn't occur to johnny to question whether "back channel" communications should be sent over encrypted foreign systems instead of systems our own government can monitor. In other words, he's fine with the FSB and the SVR having access to the highly classified information exchanged, but he wants to be sure the NSA, CIA, or FBI don't get it.
Gee, what could be wrong with that?

In other words, johnforbes thinks that once again Russia should have more information than the U.S. does.
That's why he was here recently defending the idea that America should be content to get its news from PRAVDA concerning what goes on in the Oval Office. (I'm not making that up.)

There is only one reason Trump would want access to an encrypted Russian communications system, and that's so that America and American law enforcement can never find out about what he is actually doing while he's telling us he's doing something else.
Trump couldn't care less if the Russians know more than Americans do about his dealings with Russia. In fact, he's counting on it.

And for some mysterious reason all this doesn't raise a warning flag for "America First" Forbes.

Ken Jennings was very good on "Jeopardy!" but then yesterday revealed that he had no common sense by attacking an 11-year-old.

So Ken is a punk.

But it is society which says how smart a person is, and it says so by what roles it permits people to play.

Your portfolio also indicates that.

As to Clowntoker's silly post where he pretends to put words in my mouth, that was absurd.

But then Clown's posts typically are.

Again, johnforbes has nothing but his idiotic and completely irrelevant obsession with Jeopardy.

Everything I posted is correct, johnny, (except it was TASS that released the photos, not PRAVDA) including the part about how you defended Trump for not allowing America to see photos of Trump's meeting with the Russians in the Oval Office, so America first saw what went on in the Oval Office when TASS released its photos. You thought that was just fine fine. Your only response?

"News flash:
A camera is a camera."-blasé johnforbes May 11

Essentially you argued that it was fine that America had to get its news photos from TASS. As long as we saw photos, the source didn't matter to you. "A camera is a camera."
And the proof this is what you meant is that you didn't explain your comment further after I called you on it, nor post a single critical word about how ridiculous it is that America had to get its news photos from TASS.
You condoned Trump's behavior with your further silence on the issue.

But Dogzilla, that's not true and you know it.

Have you ever posted a substantive post here?

Perhaps you are capable of doing that, and simply feel (correctly) it isn't worth the time or effort?

That would be a reasonable decision for any of us.

But, if you want to talk about sensible, coherent posts, I've never seen you post anything of the sort.

To be fair, you may be capable of that but haven't elected to try.

I don't always respond to comments.

But, when I do, I note that the Jared story really does ruin the Russia connection story.

If Trump and his team were joined with Russia, no back channel would be needed and another would be redundant.

I think someone should tell johnforbes that there is a hotline from the U.S. President directly to the Russian leader.
It's called the "Moscow–Washington hotline".
It is operational 24 hours a day and has back-up systems. It is the ultimate "back channel" to Russia that bypasses all the diplomats, secret agents, and newspapers.

Any other supposed "back channel" communication system to Russia is an obvious con job if the purported excuse is to let the President talk to the Kremlin in secret about critical issues. And why do it over encrypted Russian lines that would inform Russia but hide everything from the legitimate U.S. government?

If Trump and his team were "joined to Russia" that's exactly the kind of back channel they would need.

Aren't all you libtards hysterical over the fairy tale of Trump being controlled by Russia or at least colluding with them during the campaign?

If so, the AssClown Steppinfetchit should realize the U.S./Russian hotline is only available to the president, NOT a presidential candidate.

Google it for confirmation. AssClown Steppinfetchit.

Not every person here knows this, but Grog has written his autobiography.

It is entitled " FAIRY TALE: Grog's 39 Years in the Baths of Frisco."

The New York Times called it "A sweeping saga of love and lust in the tawdry underbelly of society."
