They don't CONTINUE to grow stronger, they are already strong, we, because of liberals, continue to be made weaker.

The killing of innocents always strengthens and unites the opposiion. Our use of DU and slaughtering a quarter million or so Iraqi civilians seriously undermined our efforts in the invasion of Iraq. The attacks on civilian targets like the nightclub in Bali and the world trade center drove the moderate muslims from the center towards sympathy for the christian world as well. Whenever you politically radicalize, you lose the center. So, by playing to the nuts on the fringe of your group, you energize and coalesce your base, but you lose a certain percentage of them. Sometimes, this is a calculated risk on the part of a party, other times it is the foolish mistake of an ameature, history decides which is which.

The mass media are whores.Their agenda changes with the stock market and they represent the views necessary to sell whatever oversensationalized topic they are peddling at the moment. To argue that they favor one point of view over another is fruitless and frivolous. They favor whichever point of view benefits them. You can find some media outlet or another espousing whatever crackpot opinion you wish to force feed some loser on a message board. Which is why you people are so effective at wasting one another's time.

If you monitor the different outlets of propaganda, what they spread or don't mention, you can see that they ARE in favor of a general line/bent of ideas and against or don't cover another - unless you're blind or completely stupid.
