Under Project Dragnet, the NSA surveilled Trump from 2004 to 2010 (and almost surely after).
This database info was apparently obtained from law enforcement, specifically a NSA contractor.
It is being circulated by Alex Jones, who is often described as a conspiracy theorist. But, just as with Wikileaks, the interesting material is the material -- not the source of the leak.
It sure looks like Trump was electronically surveilled in far more thorough fashion that even he thought. But did Obama order that? It looks like he merely inherited the ongoing activity, but surely would have known about it.
Whether you like Wikileaks or not, a lot of interesting info emerged from them.
The NY Times and the Guardian have reported that the CIA surveilled the Senate (their own supervisors) in 2013-2014. If that is true, how far out of control has intel gotten?
