Some concepts are too difficult for liberals.

For example, liberals can't understand the concept of lowering taxes to get more economic growth so you eventually get more tax revenue.

Liberals cannot understand that Mexico will NOT write a check to pay for the wall's construction, but that Mexico WILL pay for the wall with increased fees because Mexico NEEDS to do 50 billion of annual trade with the US.

So give us an example of a "fee" that could raise some money from Mexico, johnny.

Remember, G.H.W. Bush's NAFTA won't allow tariffs on traded goods. So what else is there?
Just one example to start, johnny, and be sure to tell us how many billions of dollars you expect it will raise.

And what conservatives can't understand that if you cut taxes to zero, you end up with less tax revenue.
You cannot keep cutting taxes forever. And this tactic has not worked in fifty years, as our debt shows. Every Republican tries it and the debt balloons out of control.
They also don't understand that if you cut taxes on only the people with money, you're left with only the poor paying taxes which they don't have the means to pay.

I understand why liberals remain obtuse on this -- it serves as a talking point for dolts.

But let's be candid. Everybody knows that Mexico can easily be made to pay for a mere 10 b for a wall.

There's tons of items linked to over 50 b of yearly trade.

Trucks from Mexico come in, and plants are built there, and the border is a beehive of trade back and forth every day.

Come on, it isn't a mystery that, all across America, one subtle way taxes have been going up are the small fees charged to do various things like a yearly vehicle registration renewal.

There are many, many very easy ways to raise such fees and do so on an admin basis without some big splashy bit of new legislation.
