Remember when democrats broke tradition in 2013 to force Obama's nominees through by using the nuclear option? I I predicted it would come back to bite the democrats because when the GOP gets into the majority they now can do the same thing. The 3/5 of votes previously required is out the door, a simple majority is now all that's required to end a filibuster of executive and judicial nominees. When Trump was ask if he was concerned democrats would use the filibuster to blocks his nominees he simply said "We'll nuke the fllibusters" so no he's not concerned democrats can stop them. "We don't have time to waste playing games, we'll use the same precedence Obama did to get the people I want, in the places I want them."

The Nevada Democrat, a fierce Trump opponent who often referred to the president-elect as "a spoiled brat," took dramatic action in 2013 to end Republicans' ability to mount a filibuster to derail President Obama's judicial and Cabinet nominees.

Reid, who was majority leader at the time, used a parliamentary move known as the "nuclear option" to change a nearly 40-year-old Senate rule. The change meant that the Senate now needs only a simple majority of 51 votes — rather than a super-majority of 60 — to proceed to confirmation votes on Cabinet secretaries, agency directors and judges

"We changed the Senate rules to guarantee Obama's nominees a fair, simple-majority vote," he wrote in a recent op-ed in The New York Times. "I doubt any of us envisioned Donald J. Trump’s becoming the first president to take office under the new rules."

Boy oh boy, loving watching the melt downs, was at a Christmas party last night and there were a few people that were absolutely having mental breakdowns over Trump and his appointees. I didn't argue with them, I just listened to the melt downs and took great joy in it. I brought one women to tears when I pretended to be upset that Trump will get all of his terrible appointees through by using the nuclear option, she cried "NO,NO, NO, THIS ISN'T RIGHT, WHY, WHY, WHY." One of my friends who knows I'm a conservative later came over to me and said "Carlos, that was really mean, good job!" It was one of funniest parties I've been to in a long time.

Clown melts down as the reality of this election sets in.

Jeff Sessions, our next Attorney General said he's not as concerned of Russia's possible influence over the election as he is certain American politicians and has promised his DOJ will aggressively pursue any possible criminal violations now being committed in attempts to overturn the election.

I don't know if past postings are available in some archive here, but I said long ago that Harry Reid and the Senate Democrats would rue the day they changed this 200-year-old Senate rule.
