Political discussions about everything

Tool, you apparently don't understand the word "majority". You meant to say "loud mouthed minority".
All your map shows is that Republicans aren't fit to live with others so they spread out into the country side with their guns and booze to hole up in their bunkers.

The actual majority (by 2 million votes) voted for Clinton. How many times do you have to be told the truth?

ESL, Tool, ESL classes. Learn to use an English dictionary already.

The actual majority (by 2 million votes) voted for Clinton
Yeah and Hillary is over joyed with the outcome

She was playing checkers and Da Donald was playing chess. He was smart enough to know he needed to win the majority of the delegates so went after them instead of individual voters. Those millions of illegal votes on the West Coast didn't help Hillary get one more delegate out of those States. She could have gotten 10 million more votes out of those States and it still wouldn't have given her one more delegate. Da Donald understood that logic, Hillary didn't.

"But that isn't the truth."-johnfibs

Yes, johnny, it IS the truth. The "majority" means "the greater number of votes."
Your English seems to be no better than RealTool's.
Hillary got about 2 million more votes than Trump. That is what sources like The New York Times have reported.
You, as always, have your usual nothing.

You're making a fool of yourself by saying, "Yeah, but if reality were different, Trump would be more popular."

But reality is what it is and Hillary got more votes than Trump, and you can't "wish" him to be more popular than he is.
If you think you can, have I got some mediocre steak and vodka to sell you.
I could just as easily say that if Clinton had campaigned more in Michigan and blah, blah, blah, blah...she could have won the Electoral College. But she didn't, just like Trump didn't do what you are making up.

Why can't conservatives ever simply accept facts and reality? What is wrong with them?
Trump lost the popular vote, so he can't be said to be "more popular."
That's just a fact. Reactionary wishful thinking doesn't count.
Unlike Trump, you are not allowed to rewrite history.
#80521
If you are playing basketball and want to win, you play by the rules of basketball -- not soccer.

Trump wanted to win the election, not rack up the biggest popular vote.

He didn't campaign even slightly seriously in many areas with big pools of available Repub voters.

Instead, he tried to win -- and did.
#80522
Yeah, yeah, yeah, johnny, I was right and you were wrong. I know.

You don't need to be "more popular" to win in basketball or Presidential races.
That's what I said, and it's the opposite of what you and RealTool said.

But it's good to see you come around to agreeing with both me and reality this morning.
I guess there's hope for you yet.

But I still don't understand why you have to pretend to disagree with me when you are agreeing with me.
What's with that?
#80523
Thanks for admitting I was correct.

And for admitting you were wrong.

#80525
johnny, I said Clinton won the "majority".
You said "But that isn't the truth."

Now you DON'T claim "that isn't the truth."
Now you agree with me because "majority" means "the most votes".

You rightly abandoned your claim that I was wrong.
I, on the other hand, NEVER said you were wrong about Trump playing by the rules and winning.
It's you who pretended to disagree with me.
You are still pretending to disagree with me, even though you have come around to my point of view.
What's with that?
#80528
Obviously, Trump won the election, which is what he and Hillary set out to do.

To do that, he adhered to the rules for winning.

Hillary won the popular vote because she got more, but she really didn't win the popular vote because that was not the goal both of the main candidates set out to achieve.

Had Trump wanted to win the popular vote, a persuasive case could be made that he may well have done that by campaigning in California, Texas, and so on.

Repubs rarely even pay attention to the West Coast, but they could rack up votes by doing so if they chose to.
#80530
"Hillary won the popular vote because she got more, but she really didn't win the popular vote..."-johnnutcase

Huh? Wha...?

Honestly, the crap you clowns need to tell yourselves to hold onto your incredibly untenable cognitive dissonance.
johnny, nobody can both win the popular vote and at the same time NOT win the popular vote, for any reason whatsoever. It isn't possible.

You reactionaries are just too seriously fucked up to talk to.
#80531
You do have to put your thinking cap on, but that's correct.

Hillary did win the popular vote, but she didn't in the sense that she won something Trump wasn't competing against her in.

What you are saying is that I scored more points and won the basketball game, but your crossover dribble is so stylish you think you won.

That's what Hillary's folks are now saying.
#80533
I'm not sure clown understands the rules of basketball or how winning an election works. I'll try and make it simple for him.

A free throw basket counts as one point. Any basket from a shot taken from inside the three-point line during game play counts for two points. Any basket from a shot taken from outside the three-point line counts for three points.

Now if you have a team that is only going for number of baskets scored and they go all in for the easier free throw shots, lets say make 50 free throws -= 50 points.

Now the other team only makes 40 baskets but 10 of those were three pointers, THEY WIN!

I can hear clown now "I don't get it the other team scored 10 more baskets so they're the real winner"
#80703
"What you are saying is that I scored more points and won the basketball game, but your crossover dribble is so stylish you think you won."-johnfibs

No, that's NOT what I'm saying. Not even close.

What I am saying is that you scored more points and won the basketball game, but some arbitrarily appointed referees in the stands are going to give the game to the other team anyway.
Neither the number of points scored by the players nor how anyone dribbled is even relevant.

And RealTool doesn't seem to understand that one point is one point.
It isn't about the number of shots taken or the location of the shots, dummy. In basketball and democracy, it's about the total score at the end of the game.
A vote isn't 'one shot' with a variable value. A vote is one point with a fixed value.
Clinton scored over 2 million more points than the opposing team, but some guys on the sidelines say they don't care who won. They're still going to give the game to the loser.
#80729
"It's not the baskets dummie, it's the points."-RealTool

Exactly. Just what I said, Tool.

Clinton scored over two million more points than Trump.
RealTool drops his idiotic position that where on the court (Michigan, Florida,...) the shots are made is what matters and adopts my position that the total number of points (votes) is what matters.

But he still has to pretend he's the one that was right when he finally adopts my position.
Way to go, Tool.
#80743
Geezus, dimwit, haven't you heard of the Electoral College yet?
You know, that thing that overrides the will of the people and elects the loser of the election as President?

It's all we've been talking about lately. Try to keep up.

Criminy, the gross ignorance of the Right.....
#80764
Tool, those "538" are not the points on the score board. Our VOTES are the points on the board. They are the only score we have so far.

Those "538" have not been 'scored' yet, and they won't be scored until the 19th, so they don't have anything to do with the score of the game so far; Clinton by ~2.5 million.
When the Electoral College finally scores it's points, neutralizing all the votes of the electorate of this country, THEN you know absolutely that the electorate's wishes are meaningless.

I know you're used to your vote being worth nothing, but I'm not.
#80773
What is it with you Trump supporters? None of you have heard of the Electoral College.

Once they vote, the election results will be reversed and Trump will be President.
Geez, educate yourselves, fer cripes sake.

You need to understand that Clinton hasn't lost yet. She's ahead by over 2 million votes at this point.
She loses the election on Dec. 19th..

I've explained this to you a half dozen times already.
#80790
You could afford to pay laborers?
You could afford magazine subscriptions?

Did you take them to the barn to read them on your indoor basketball court?
Or did you walk a half hour to another part of your land to get some peace and quiet to read?

Your tragic story of poverty never ceases to bring a tear to my eye.
I'm all choked up by the trials of your youth.
#80793
Clinton up by around 2.7 million popular votes. Trump claimed that if he went to campaign in blue states then he would have obtained more popular votes? This comes from the guy who claimed that "millions" of votes were "fraudulent" without presenting a shred of evidence.

Conservatives have only won a majority of the votes only in one presidential election going back to 1992 nor have they won a plurality in an election in the same time frame.
#80815
Clowntoker, come on now.

Surely you know how biography is used?

How many black politicians have gotten votes based on the notion that they experienced discrimination they never did?

As to growing up doing rural manual labor, what good is that if you can't use it to your advantage as a genuine experiential form of diversity?

Barry and Hillary wouldn't know what end of a shovel to pick up, and they have no clue what it is like to work all day in the sun.

It isn't gender or race which conveys genuine diversity.
#80822
johnforbes, come on now.

Like Trump has any idea what it is like to work all day in the sun with a shovel.

And his heartbreaking story about having to make it with only a million dollars handed to him.

And that's the point. You pretend this kind of shit works against the Clintons and anyone you don't like, but you make excuses for the same stuff when it applies to your own guy.
Always the hypocrite, aren't you, johnny...you just can't help it.
#80828
Don't confuse my biography with Trump's.

No, Trump never did manual labor other than stints on construction his father had him to to learn the business.

But his version was taking a loan of a million dollars (loan, not gift) and turning it into billions by going to the big league of Manhattan.

As to biography generally, Lincoln was a rail lawyer but he made use of rail-splitting because it revealed his background.

Literally, he read Blackstone while resting mules from plowing.
#80840
So you're going back to that stupid thing about Trump taking 3,141 easy free throws and scoring less than Clinton who apparently landed 57- 10,000 point shots?

It still isn't the number of baskets, dummy, its the total number of points when the buzzer goes off.

Then you stand back and let the referees overthrow the score of the voters in about a week.
#80851
Killery's vote margin came from libtard la-la land California. Take the land of fruits and nuts out of the equation and Trump won the popular vote by a wide margin.

AssClown fails again.
