Amazing, is it not, how its "different" when they, too, suffer from the consequences of their own actions? There have been thousands of rapes and 100's of murders by refugees in Germany but this one is the only one the media and politicians reacts to in "horror". Her murder truly is a horror and sad but what's also sad is people like Dr Ladenbuger enabled this and other murders to occur...and hers will not be the last.
Germany reacts with horror at the murder of 19-year-old Maria Ladenburger – the daughter of a senior EU official. An Afghan migrant has confessed to raping her and then drowning her in a river in the city of Freiburg, German police say.The horrors these people have created and unleashed upon Germany and Europe have, finally, been visited upon one of their own, not just those who are, to them, nameless, faceless unimportant masses.
The medical student was the daughter of Dr Clemens Ladenburger, a lawyer who assists the legal director of the European Commission and an outspoken refugee advocate who often challenged those who brought up the potential dangers of allowing them in. Dr Ladenburger had encouraged his daughter to help out at a refugee centre in her spare time as a civil duty to help refugees resettle. It's unclear if she was known to her alleged murderer though that centre.
