A sheriff's deputy being beaten, and was in mortal danger for his life, by someone he had pulled over, was saved by an armed citizen who shot the miscreant (three times. It's always best to make sure) after being encouraged by the deputy to, "Shoot this mother fucker!"

Both the assailant and the armed citizen were/are black.
The deputy is white.
The media is, of course, silent.
