Political discussions about everything

If so, it would mean the final end of America's greatness as a country.

Today, only people under a certain age even remember when that was the case.

So far, the IRS, the DoJ, State, the FBI, etc have been drawn into the swamp of Clinton corruption.

Four years of Hillary would mean more investigation of the largest public corruption in U.S. history -- the Clinton Foundation.

Even Loretta Lynch blocking the FBI from investigating could not choke off the ability of Congress and WikiLeaks to get out info.

So Johnnie you have finally admitted that the United States is a great nation under Obama...

And that Trump's campaign slogan is a meaningless point..."Make America Great Again."

No, it would be the final end of American greatness.

Probably everybody here can recall thinking, in 1975, that after Vietnam and Watergate the country was too divided and had lost the pride, unity, and strength it had in 1944-45.

So now you're saying 1975 was the "end of America's greatness"?

But just not the "final end of America's greatness"?

Do I have that right?

Would someone please explain the meaning of "final" and "end" to john"redundant"forbes?

Yes.....I know exactly what you're talking about. But.....we did get it back for a brief moment before Cheney and BabyBush bombed the shit out of the wrong damn country! Republican Greed and incompetence.

Trump claims that he knows more than the Generals. He claims that the military should use the element of surprise. So were they supposed to "hide" some 25,000 troops in the desert and bum rush a city of two million people?

This from the guy who ran 4 casinos into the ground...

I wouldn't bet on this one either way.

I don't much care for Hillary, but Trump is bad news for America and certainly anyone with an IQ of 100 or better.

Do they have elections in Can-uh-duh, or do they just wait for the current leader to pass out and then the next, least drunk person takes over?

Trump is correct about the element of surprise.

Announcing months in advance a push to retake a town, that's nutty.

If Elkin had ever been in the military, he would have known that.

johnny, there is no way Mosul could have been taken by "surprise". That's plain ignorance and stupidity.

It took weeks to fight through the neighboring towns before getting to Mosul.

It's not like you could ever surprise ISIL in Mosul unless they had their ear plugs in and just couldn't be bothered to look out the window for a few weeks.

Clown, I understand that, but Trump's point was that they were talking 4 months ago about it.

You've got to assume that your enemy can read a newspaper, or gain Internet access, within a 4-month time and take steps to depart.

Also, there are many assets which can come, with no warning, from places as remote as Diego Garcia.

A mile high or more, and iron on target.

Also, there was far too much open info about the precise time for departing Iraq and other places.

The element of surprise is good.
