Political discussions about everything

The DOJ admits Lynch ordered Comey not to tell anyone about reopening the investigation until after the election. You can bet Lynch was also against reopening the investigation. Comey had to do it because the FBI revolted at the cover ups plus you had State and Local Law Enforcement involved in the Weiner case that refused to remain silent about what they turned over to the FBI.

I'm hoping they've found evidence that'll drain the swamp and bring down the Attorney General who has already pled the fifth.

Regardless of what the FBI finds or recommends, Loretta Lynch will remain true to the guy who appointed her US Attny, and that was Bill Clinton.

She met with him on the tarmac.

But set politics aside.

It is a sad day for America when the average citizen cannot expect justice from the Dept of Justice.

Politicization of hiring at the Department of Justice

Attorney General Gonzales, in a confidential memorandum dated March 1, 2006, delegated authority to senior DOJ staff Monica Goodling and Kyle Sampson to hire and dismiss political appointees and some civil service positions.

On May 2, 2007, the Department of Justice announced two separate investigations into hirings conducted by Goodling: one by the department's Inspector General, and a second by the Office of Professional Responsibility.[23] In testimony before the House Judiciary Committee, on May 23, 2007, Goodling stated that she had "crossed the line" and broken civil service laws regulating hiring for civil service positions, and had improperly weighed political factors in assessing applicants.[33]

According to a January 2009 Justice Department report, investigators found that Bradley Schlozman, as interim head of the Civil Rights Division at the Department of Justice, "favored applicants with conservative political or ideological affiliations and disfavored applicants with civil rights or human rights experience whom he considered to be overly liberal". The positions under consideration were not political, but career, for which the political and ideological views of candidates are not to be considered, according to federal law and guidelines.[34]

In a letter of May 30, 2007, to the Senate Judiciary Committee, the United States Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General and Counsel for the Office of Professional Responsibility confirmed that they were expanding their investigation beyond "the removals of United States Attorneys" to include "DOJ hiring and personnel decisions" by Monica Goodling and other Justice Department employees.[35]

Obama had to realize that he had been dragged into the email mess too.

He told CBS he didn't know about the private server until he read about it in newspapers, but if WikiLeaks is correct he was actually emailing on the private server.

Cheryl Mills was concerned about the need to "clean this up" because he was NOT using a state.gov account to email.

No wonder the W House wanted to shut down the inquiry before it drew more people in.

Didn't White House staffers have to know that they were emailing Hillary on a private, non-secure server?
