Political discussions about everything

Take the stage away from the racist and disrespectful athletes and end the hatred, simply play the National Anthem prior to letting the athletes out on the field, let them kneel in their locker room.

If the NFL doesn't put a stop to it, it will get out of control, give people like them an inch and they'll take a mile, they'll push the limits and millions will simply tune the games out. If they're going to act like children treat them like children, let them listen to the National Anthem in their locker room.

The future of the NFL is up to them, either take action or allow the thugs to bring it down

"The future of the NFL..."

Why do you care whether anyone stands or sits or sleeps through the national anthem?
Why are you always interested in humiliating someone in public for following their convictions?
I'm sure most professional athletes would breath a sigh of relief to not have to be on the field during the hatchet job we often hear by some local yokel.

There is no requirement that the anthem be played at sporting events and there is no requirement that anyone do anything at all during the anthem. People in wheelchairs aren't required to stand. Nor people who walk with canes. Nor are elderly people. Nor are people holding children. Nor are people from other countries. The list goes on.
Hell, YOU don't even bother to stand up when you are watching the game at home. If you don't care, why should he?

It's just an arbitrary song, Tool. It wasn't written by the Continental Congress in 1776 or anything. It isn't sacred.
We could get rid of it tomorrow if we wished.
If standing makes you feel good, stand up. If it makes you feel bad, then don't.
What do you care what harmless thing someone else is doing? It's still a free country....more or less.

It's high time we chose a new anthem anyway.
The current one is impossible for a normal person to sing and it's blatantly militaristic.
It's time we had a beautiful anthem instead; one that everyone can sing. Canada had the right idea, regardless of what Insipid thinks.

So get over yourself and realize this is just more distractions from your handlers to get you riled up over inconsequential things so you don't think about the real problems we actually face as a country (such as the serious issue Kaepernick is protesting.) Whether someone stands or sits is not one of them.
Professional athletes are not my role models.
This is about "Number 2649" on the list of issues facing our country.
I sit all the time when I'm not standing. I'm sitting right now. Nobody cares.

^^^^^^Another pointless post by Loser Boy Assclown Insipid who, as always, has nothing whatsoever to contribute to the topic.

He's so owned, he is compelled to dance for me whenever I post.

Don't worry, Loser Boy, I made it long precisely because I knew your ADD would effectively eliminate you from the conversation but not from the dance command performances.

So get dancing for me, moron.

It's truly heartwarming to see so many people here concerned about the welfare of the NFL.

I'm glad to see you're catching on, silly.

You reduced this non-issue to its fundamental reality. It's a TV show.
And who benefits? The National Football league.

They will milk this thing for all it's worth as fans will tune in in greater numbers and act all upset until the next silly sports non-issue is fabricated for them to be upset about.

According to Clown-moid, when I write a long post, I am having a meltdown. Hmmm, same definition must apply to you or else you are a HYPOCRITE.

Third to last line in your post: "Professional athletes are not my role models" Duh. You have no role models, because after all, you are fucking perfect, right?
#76813
No, dimwit, when you compulsively post three or four times in a row without anyone saying a word in response, THAT'S a meltdown.

When you make one long post, it's a spaz attack because you never address a thing I actually say and your spitting and drooling can be felt through the power lines.
Even now you haven't said a word about either the issue or the content of my post.

Note that my long post covers several aspects of the issue. Yours just covers how angry you are at me.
I didn't mention you once in my post on the topic. See any difference?
#76814
I told you long ago how I was going to respond to you.

I will not post it again. You are not worth any more time than I want to give.

I will post what I want, when I want, and most of it will be to rip your head off and shit down your neck.
#76824
Why the hell do they insist on playing the anthem at sports events anyway?
Because the majority of Americans want it to be played...it's really that simple. Sporting events aren't required to play it but they know if they don't, they're out of business.

Like I said, simply play the National Anthem prior to letting the athletes out on the field and problem solved.

How often does a stalker come out and admit he's a stalker who intends to contribute nothing of value to this forum?

But Ooooooh, I'm shaking in my BVDs now... fucking moron--
Look what he has been reduced to; an angry, impotent, poster boy for Trump and Jesus.

Several black players on the Seahawks are promising to do something very special at tomorrow's game to express their outrage at black oppression. If they do that'll be another team joining the 49'ers that will loose supporters. I and millions of other will refuse to support or watch games played by teams that allow such conduct, it's our way of saying we also have the freedom to express how we feel.

I'm betting if several Seahawks players do perform a childish act during the Anthem the NFL will be forced into acting.
#76880
Kaepernick says the idea to protest the national anthem comes from his Muslim girlfriend....
although he says he has not converted to Islam...

I guess it's time for the FBI to start keeping an eye on him ......

he is getting radicalized but is too stupid to know it....
some terrorist group is going to convince him to give them his money...

and the band played on

Jerry Rice said it best. "When I was a player, if we did something that offended the public or might affect team moral we were told to knock if off, no if's and our but's about it. They're there on that field to play football, nothing else. Not respecting our National Anthem is nothing more than grandstanding at the expense of the team and is very selfish, why it's being tolerated is beyond me."
#76955
Trump is the king of grandstanding. The asshole always finds new and innovative ways of making an ass out of himself. If he wants to make an ass out of himself. Let him go on ahead. Who cares...it's a free country.

The brownshirted conservatards have difficulty understanding that concept...

Bill Clinton was telling lies to his draft board more than 40 yrs ago.

His career was built on lies such as saying oral sex was not sex.

Hillary had already started to trash Monica when the DNA was found on the blue dress and the Clintons found that particular set of lies to be untenable.

Trump is not JFK, but then JFK was not JFK either and he was placing national security at tremendous risk by banging more interns than Bill.

As to Hillary, no Democrat is enthusiastic about this elderly liar in a pantsuit.

As surely nobody thinks pneumonia causes seizures...

"All you have to do is listen to him for two minutes and it's clear he's not the brightest tool in the shed."-RealTool

Funny, Tool, that's exactly how I felt reading you for two minutes.

And you see that as enough reason to discount what someone has to say, right?

OK, if you say so.

Dog, that's his ROD, not his STAFF.

Yes, johnforbes is tall, but he's not THAT tall.
And even someone as well used as johnforbes couldn't fit the crook up his backside.

Now there's an informative contribution you can have your staff look into, johnny. (As if they haven't been fussing around back there for years already.)
And we know you are 'saluting' this contribution from the impressive roll of pennies you seem to be carrying in your front pocket. :o
