It seems she had what looks like an audio device inserted into her left ear that allowed off camera lackies to prompt her with info during the softball puff piece. She frequently made obvious pauses in her remarks to listen to wbat was being said to her through the ear piece.

That or it was just an emergency throat lozenge stashed there in case of another bad hack attack.
