While former President Bill Clinton’s 1995 speech on illegal immigration got a standing ovation when he used the same talking points as Republican nominee Donald Trump, Trump’s Arizona speech Wednesday got him called a racist.

Clinton gave a State of the Union address where he said all Americans were disturbed by the amount of illegal immigrants in the country. He noted the burdens they put on the tax payers before vowing to crack down aggressively.

Bill Clinton's 1995 speech was very aggressive and he delivered it with conviction.

He noted that illegals drive down wages and impose big burdens on American society (jails, schools, quality of life).

Other than a wall, everything Bill Clinton stood for was the same as what Trump says.
