I think he's reporting on his own legal career and projecting his own laziness onto other lawyers.

By the end of that trail, many law students lose interest or realize the actual problems of a long legal career.

On the bright side, it is good general education, which is why so many lawyers are on "Jeopardy!"

There are over 20,000 non-practicing lawyers just in the D.C. area alone in federal agencies, and of course many more work as business execs across the world.

Barry, for example, taught law and entered politics.

Michelle worked with blacks as a community relations person with a hospital.

Bill Clinton taught law for a brief time, then got into politics.

Hillary slithered into politics via the Watergate hearings, where her dishonesty first came to public renown.
