Now I'll include a response I wrote back then (April 28th) but never bothered to post because I knew it was pointless to try to get tvd to understand that what he considers an incredible depth of knowledge is just what I consider a basic everyday education.
You can decide whether it is credible that I already knew about heavy water before I used a search engine to back up my claims.

I had two grandparents who were university science professors who turned every walk in the woods, every trip to the mountains, and desert excursion into an eye-opening experience.
My father was a chemical engineer with a PE license. (look it up, dummy)
He would take us to his chemistry lab on weekends and run experiments for us, explaining what was going on.

So don't give me your idiotic bullshit about how there's "no fucking way" I had any idea about heavy water not being nuclear waste. There are MANY ways I knew about it already. You should be more surprised if I DIDN'T know about it already. Any modestly educated person knows about it.
