It's a show where Hollywood elites pats them selves on the back and says "Good job, us!" Most people can care less about their private party, thus the reason the rating hit rock bottom last night. It'll be even lower next year because they've already promised their will be token mammies who will be given awards to show Hollywood really cares about those of color. Next year even if a black person really deserved the award, the liberal elite will whisper "that was nice to give the darkie that" and every black person receiving the award will know that's what they're saying behind their backs. As the darkie gives his and hers (there will many) acceptance speeches they'll wonder if they earned it or if was just given to as set aside tokens, that thought will be with them for the rest of their life. Every time they show the award to friends and family, they'll know it was given out during the years of mammy tokens.
It's a terrible thing they're about to do to black actors who have any level of pride. Oscars awards will be in league with Noble Peace Prizes which lost their prestige when they handed them out like candy to Al Gore and Obama, not for accomplishments but for the agendas they stood for.
